Jealousy

"He almost killed me!" John Murphy laughed as he opened a beer up.

"Oh, he's just an idiot," I chuckled as I grabbed one, too. "He just hates me, so he doesn't think I should be happy."

"Oh, please, Clarke!" Murphy rolled his eyes. "Bellamy wants you all to himself and now that we're so close, he thinks we're going to be together and he can't stand it."

"Oh, come on," I laughed. "Bellamy rejected me when I tried. He's just rude. He deserves to be mad," I laughed.

"Ohh, that's a dangerous thing to say," Murphy said with an evil glint in his eye.

I raised my eyebrow. "What did you have in mind, my evil friend?"

"Let's make his jealous."

"You evil genius! I love you so much," I laughed. We both raised our drinks. "Let's do this."

Two days later, and it was Friday. Time for our plan to be unleashed! Everyone in the group was in on it except of course, Bellamy. Tonight, John and I were going to do everything possible to spark Bellamy.

I heard a knock on my door and I went to go answer it. "What do you think? Do I clean up nice?"

I surveyed John. He had shaved and he was wearing nice jeans with a gray shirt. He had his leather jacket on. "You look awesome! Help me pick something," I pulled him inside my bedroom. I opened the closet doors and Murphy started sifting through all of my clothes while I finished my make-up. I added blush, red lipstick, heavy eye liner, and dark gray eye shadow. "What do you think?" I turned to Murphy.

"Holy hell, that lipstick," he said. "You're going to be covered tonight, I may need bodyguards," he laughed. "Here, wear this."

I took the hangar from his hands. It was a halter black dress, barely coming mid-thigh. The back was completely open and it had a cut to show cleavage. "Damn, good pick. Let me change, go ahead and call everyone and make sure they're ready."

After I finished changing, I pinned all of my hair to the left side, leaving the right side of my neck bare. I slid on my lace black heels and grabbed my clutch. "Hey, I'm ready!" I called to John as he was hanging up his phone.

"They're all on the way, Bellamy is still in. He's grumpy now though, because Raven announced that I would be escorting you." He smiled.

"Well, let's get this thing started."

"Hey, guys!" I called as we found our friends' table.

"Good fucking holy shit nuts, Clarke!" Raven yelled. "Shit, if you go home alone I am coming over! You're fucking hot!"

I busted out laughing as Wick choked on his drink. "Babe!"

"Well look at her!" She laughed. I looked around as soon as I felt his gaze on me. I turned to the side to see Bellamy walking to the table, a beer in his hand. He almost stumbled as his eyes landed on my face. Perfect.

"John, will you go grab a shot and a martini? Let's get tonight started."

He gripped my hip, pulling me closer, "As you wish," he said, just loud enough for everyone to hear.

That snake, he knew I loved that movie. Bellamy had bought it for me for my birthday. "Wow, Clarke. You and John, huh?" Raven asked.

"What?" I asked, pretending to be oblivious. "We're friends," I giggled.

"My friends have never acted like that towards me. Maybe you two could be more," she said, pointedly.

I just shrugged and pretended to be shy. When Murphy got back I leaned up and kissed his cheek. "You're the best, thank you!"
