Clarke rolled her eyes as she entered Murphy's basement. Of course, they had just graduated so he had used his mysterious and sneaky ways to have his parents gone for the weekend, and more booze than any group of teenagers should be around.
"Murphy, I think you bought out the entire state!" Clarke said, meeting his dark, stormy eyes.
He just shrugged, kissing her head as he passed by her with a box of liquors. Raven, Kyle, Emori, Bellamy, Monty, and Harper were already settled onto the couch, solo cups in hand.
"Clarke!" Raven greeted. "You're late, we're about to start the games."
Clarke took a deep breath, bracing herself. Raven was the queen of drinking games, and it was always unfortunate for Clarke. She'd been in her underwear from strip poker, locked in a closet with Monty (they didn't do anything), and had to kiss everyone in the room at least once from spinning an empty vodka bottle.
"And what games are we playing tonight?" Clarke asked.
Kyle was the one to answer. "Tonight will be two games," he said, smirking. "First, a wonderful game of Truth or Dare. Then, we're going to end the night with a variation of a key party."
Oh, no.
"The way it works is all the rooms have a piece of paper taped to them. The bowl on the table over there has the numbers. Girls are going to go sit in their rooms and wait for their male friends to pick a room and show up," Murphy explained.
Clarke tried not to show the horror she was feeling. Everyone know Harper and Monty were talking, Murphy was into Emori. So, that left Kyle and Bellamy trying to pick the last two rooms. Bellamy of course had no feelings for Raven, but he did have feelings for Clarke. Just not very nice ones.
Everyone gathered around the room, sitting in a circle. With several drinks all around, Murphy started the game.
"Raven, truth or dare?" He asked.
Raven shrugged. "Dare."
"Okay," Murphy nodded. "I dare you to chug the rest of that cup."
Raven accepted, finishing her drink.
The next hour continued with silly truths or dares, the game going easily. Things took a very sharp turn when Bellamy was up. And Harper dared him to kiss Clarke.
"Kiss the Princess?" He asked, his distaste for her always being very well known to others. "Alright."
Clarke narrowed her eyes at Harper, her discomfort very obvious. She sighed, taking another sip of her drink before Bellamy spoke up. "Well, come here, Princess."
Clarke looked at him, sitting in the leather chair with that smirk she wanted to smack off of his gorgeous face sometimes. "I believe the dare was for you to kiss me."
With a groan of frustration, Bellamy rose from his seat, standing in front of her. She sat back against the couch, her arms crossed. He gave her an annoyed look, then slowly, he placed his hands on either side of her head, and leaned in.
The kiss was brief. Only about three seconds, but it was enough to make Clarke's heart hammer in her chest as her tingling lips recovered. The group all cheered and clapped, causing her to quickly shake off her shock and roll her eyes.
"Watch out, Harper," Clarke warned. "I might make you make out with Raven," she chuckled.
The game got increasingly more sexual as it went on, most people choosing truth and having to tell stories of lost virginities or more embarrassing secrets. They should have just played Never Have I Ever at that point.
