Chapter fifteen: Studying

Rhydian clicked on the link and a few this popped up for treatment to Amnesia.

The first treatment only for if the person had a small case of Amnesia, which is to tell the person as much of their past as possible.

Obviously, it didn't work on Maddy so that one was out of the question.

The next one was for people who forgot everything, including language, writing, memories, and so on. That treatment was to start from the beginning.

Maddy only lost her memory so that one was out too.

The next two were for people who lost their memories. One treatment was to show the person any scrapbooks or photos, letters, writing, or anything that records past experience.

The last treatment was to recreate the moment that caused Amnesia in the first place.

Rhydian was shocked at the two results that they hadn't tried. If the first treatment failed, they second one seemed impossible to do since Jana had found Maddy out cold near a redwood tree.

But he knew he had to try if he was going to get his Maddy back.

Tom and Shannon were called by the police to be interviewed on Rhydian's disappearance. He had gone missing about two weeks ago, and there were still no signs of evidence.

Shannon paced back and worth in the sheriff's office. She huffed, ''Rhydian hasn't answered since that last message just move on with your lives. Does that mean he wasn't kidnapped?.

Tom put his chin on his hands, ''I don't know Shann. But don't worry, if he did run away, it was probably for a good reason.''

Shannon stopped pacing, ''Tom, do you think he went to look for Maddy without us?''

Tom stared at her, ''And why would you think that?''

''Well think about it. When we asked him about looking for Maddy the other day, he started becoming quiet and was avoiding us.''

Tom shook his head, ''I don't think so Shann,''

Shannon tapped her foot, ''You didn't think about it. It's the only answer that makes sense!''

Tom thought for a while, ''Oh my gosh, I think you're right Shann!''

''I told you!''

''Then we have to defend him.''

''Obviously!''

Then someone walked in the room, Dr. Whitewood.

Tom and Shannon froze. Dr. Whitewood closed the door, ''Hello Shannon,'' she said.

''What are you doing here Whitewood?!'' Tom said,

Dr. W stared at him, ''I'm just here to ask you guys some questions,''

She made Tom and Shannon sit down in front of her desk. ''So, lets begin with when was the last time you talked to Rhydian?''

Shannon shot Tom a look saying she would do all the talking. ''The day after our High School graduation,''

''What did you talk about?''

''College''

''Did he seem depressed?''

''No, he was actual happy to be accepted into college.''

''Did you guys ever talk after that?''
