recap:"You are so good..." -Hunter
"Oh," She said, slightly blushing.*** two weeks after last chapter ***

"Alex!" I shouted.
"Coming!" She yelled, running down the stairs.
Today we were going to Afabit's Records to see if Alex has a chance of having a serious singing career. We had called them as soon as I heard the video that Hunter posted. I had asked her to sing for me and I loved it. I was so proud.
"Christine? Does this look good?" Alex asked, showing me her outfit.
She was wearing a 'Brandon Rowland' shirt, and jeans. The shirt was way too big for her, so it was probably Hunter's.
"You should probably try to look more professional, this is a big deal!" I said.
"I know, but Hunter said I should try to look casual, so he gave me this t-shirt." Alex complained.
"And Brandon said to wear a fancy dress, but I didn't want to do that," She said.
I laughed, "So you're probably confused."
She nodded.
"I'll pick out your outfit, but you'll have to get dressed quickly because I told the record company we'd be there by 11, and it's 10. We need to be early, so we make a good impression."
We headed upstairs and I chose a darker green tank top that had a little lace at the top and plain white shorts. She wore black converse high tops, and I put her hair in a high ponytail. She didn't look too professional, but she's only 8. She's going to be 9 in two weeks, and she's counting down the days to when she is only a year younger than Ashton.
"Mom!" I heard Brandon yell.
Alex and I went downstairs to see why Brandon was yelling. He had the car keys in his hands and motioned for us to come.
"If we want to be early, we need to leave now." He said, impatiently.
Ashton and Hunter were already in the car when we got outside. I hopped in the drivers seat and turned on the engine.
A L E X'S POV:
I couldn't stop playing with my fingers and Brandon noticed.
"Hey, don't be nervous. Everyone knows you'll do great. Just think of it like you're in the living room, except there are judges, microphones, fancy seats, stages, and a whole bunch of people staring at you, telling you if you have a chance of being a singer or not."
I shot him a dirty look, which shut him up.
"Wow, thanks. That probably made her feel much better," Ashton said sarcastically.
Brandon shrugged, "Yes, I'm a helper like that!"
I could always count on Brandon to make me smile.
About 20 minutes later, we were there. No one could understand the nerves I was feeling. What if they don't like me? I wondered. The thought of it made me shiver.
