I love you guys! I get so many messages saying that you guys like my story! I just want everyone to know that, for some reason, my dm doesn't work, and that's why I can't respond. So if I haven't answered you, that's why. Also, this new family (kaitlyn, carter, and elly) are some new main characters. I just want to know what you guys think of them or what you think they should do later on. Also this is a filler chapter (not really important to the story)

B R A N D O N

Today was the last day that Elly had to tell her parents before Kaitlyn did. Kaitlyn told me about it, and for some reason, I believed that she actually cared. It was either the way her eyes looked when she said that she wanted to help too, or the way she talked about how sorry she was. I'm not sure, but it was weird.

I went over to their house. I knocked on their door, shoved my hands into my pockets, and waited for someone to answer the door. After a minute or two, Carter answered the door.

"Oh hi! Are you here to ask Elly out? Because if you are, she's upstairs."

I gave him a funny look.

I nervously laughed, "Where'd you hear that?"

He shrugged, "Alex."

I heard Elly's voice coming from the top of the stairs.

"Is he bothering you?"

"No, it's fine." I answered.

"Okay, well you can come up if you want," She said.

I said bye to Carter, and headed upstairs to talk to her. I went in her room and closed the door.

"Why are you here?" She asked, "Wouldn't you rather be with Kaitlyn?"

I was taken by surprise, "What?"

"Don't act like you don't know that you've been spending a lot of time with her lately!"

"No. I only saw her yesterday because we wanted to talk about different ways to help you. That's all, I promise. I still like you. And only you."

She pursed her lips, not quite believing me.

"I still want to help. Have you told your parents yet?"

She didn't answer.

"I'm taking that as a no. Elly, you have to tell your parents. It's important that they know."

She didn't answer me again and looked down.

I put my hand on her shoulder, "It's okay. If you know that you can't do it, I'm sure that Kaitlyn would."

"This is exactly what I mean!" She snapped.

"What?"

"You said that Kaitlyn would. Kaitlyn. Kaitlyn. Kaitlyn. God. If you want her, go get her, because I'm do-"

I pulled her into a hug and she stopped rambling.

"I'm sorry Brandon. I haven't been in the best mood today. Some girls are commenting mean things in my instagram ever since we've been hanging out." She said.

"It's fine. They're probably just jealous, but if it gets worse, just tell me and I can put them in their place."

She laughed again.

I said, "But seriously, if you can't tell your parents, your sister would be happy to."

"I know. It's just that I'm used to people using me to get closer to her and it's annoying."

I heard footsteps.

"Elly! I have to talk to you!" Kaitlyn voice rang.

She had a panicked expression on her face.

"She can't know you're here! Hide in my closet." Elly instructed.

I listened and sat in the corner of her closet while she closed it. I was confused as to why I had to hide, but decided not to question a moody teenager.

Elly's door opened.

"Have you told Mom and Dad yet?" Kaitlyn asked, getting straight to the point.

"No, I don't think I can do it. Can you?" Elly asked.

Yes! I was happy for her....

Kaitlyn said sure and walked out again.

Elly opened her door and I came stumbling out. Her closet was very messy, so it was hard to move.

"The hard part is going to be getting you out without her noticing."

We looked around her room for ideas. I looked out the window and saw a huge tree. Suddenly, a lightbulb went off in my head. I opened her window and started climbing out.

"What are you doing?!" She asked.

"Leaving." I shrugged.

"Okay, I'll go distract Kaitlyn while you climb down. Be careful," She warned.

I nodded and continued crawling out. I grabbed a tree branch and swung out. I was about half way down when I heard something snap.

Hahah. I don't rly like how this ends but that's okayyyyy
