***1 month after the new neighbors came***
(it is November 8 in the story)
A S H T O N
Carter has been coming over every single day and I absolutely hate it. He gives me this awful feeling. And it's obvious that Alex is drooling over him, too. I don't care that she is 8. I don't care that they aren't even allowed to date. And SO WHAT if he has "a perfect smile and eyes that shine?" He just makes me so mad, I almost did my happy dance when I found out that his family was busy today.
"Ashton! Guess what?!" Alex came into my room, excitement filled her eyes.
I immediately lit up. I take any chance that I can to hang out with her since Carter is hogging my sister.
"I don't know," I shrugged.
"It's my birthday tomorrow silly!"
"Oh yeah! What do you want to do to celebrate?" I asked, already mentally planning out the next day.
"Well, I want to invite Carter and Cameron and go to Castle Point! Cameron told me all about the roller coasters there and Carter loves their rides!"
oh. She wanted to invite HIM. I put away my mental list of fun things, because spending the day with Carter was definitely not on that list. But I put on a fake smile for her. She looked so excited and I wouldn't want to kill the mood. But then I got an idea. Mom would never let her ride a roller coaster, and she's probably not tall enough.
"Did you ask mom yet?" I asked.
"Yes! She said we're leaving at 6:30 a.m. tomorrow."
She skipped away and I sighed. Great. A whole day with Carter. Yippee.
***Alex's birthday***
"I can't wait to spend the whole day with my bestfriend!" Alex said, while brushing her hair in the living room.
"What?! I'm not your bestfriend?" I asked sarcastically.
"Well, you're my brother! There's a difference." She said.
I fake pouted.
I will continue this tomorrow! I'm just tired rn.
Stay positive my little turtles <3
