"Bambam!" Your voice echoed on the walls of your shared apartment.
"Yeah?" He shouted back, similar to you in the fact that he was too lazy to get up and come talk to you.
"Did you eat the last muffin?"
You stood in silence with crossed arms, waiting for a reply from your best friend that it seemed you might never receive.
"Maybe..." Bambam's meek voice carried down the hallway.
"Ughh! Bam! I told you it was mine!" You stomped to his room, mostly faking your grumpy attitude.
"I'm sorry Y/N, it just looked to good!" Stepping into Bambam's room you saw him sitting on his bed with his laptop, looking at you apologetically.
"How dare you disrespect dibs," You picked up a pillow and threw it at his head, to which he couldn't help but grin it at you. Curiously you wondered if he knew his smile was your only true kryptonite. Well, that and chocolate cake.
"I'm sorry, I promise I'll make it up to you!"
"How?"
"I'll get us chinese food for dinner tonight."
Your eyes became slits as you stared at him, wondering if this was a ruse. His expression was hopeful, and you figured you could forgive the muffin for fried rice.
"Fine. You're forgiven. But if you eat my food again, there will be blood."
"Love you too Y/N!" Bambam yelled from his room as you walked towards the living room. Rolling your eyes at how silly and cute he was you found a snack in the kitchen, although it was certainly sub-par compared to the chocolate chip muffin that was stolen from you.
You sighed as you fell down on your own bed, staring at the ceiling. It had been another lazy Saturday of Netflix and Bambam occasionally texting you a meme even though he was twenty feet away from you and could have easily shown you in person. That had always been how living with Bambam was. Full of laughter, laundry, and laziness. Although you easily agreed to do his laundry as long as he did the dishes.
It seemed like another lifetime when you thought back to living without your best friend. When you both ended up going to same college together everything seemed to line up perfectly. You were already accustomed to each other's schedule as you showered in the morning and he showered at night, he would make coffee when you woke up and you would make breakfast. Everyone had warned you against living with your best friend, but everything seemed to work out perfectly.
Of course, it had become more complicated when you realized your feelings for him were more than platonic. Sometime between his scruffy hair in the morning, late night talks about the universe, and seeing him in only a towel when you came out to get a snack before bed, you had fallen for him. That possibility had never really occurred to you before it hit you smack in the face, but there you were, wishing that there was only one bed in the apartment so you would be forced to share. Although seriously, could you really be surprised by falling in love with someone as incredible as Bambam?
Later that evening you found yourself on the couch with him eating chinese food out of paper containers and watching a stupid romantic comedy on the tv. It wasn't uncommon for the two of you to watch them and pick apart the ridiculous decisions of the protagonists.
"Okay, but why would she hide her feelings from him when telling him how she feels would solve literally all of their problems?" Bambam asked with a mouthful of cashew chicken.
