CHAPTER 27

(Knock... knock)

A knocking sound resonated behind the door and without waiting for the replied, Ha Joon went into the room with a smile.

Taehyung raised his face up to see that uninvited guest who already inside his room before lower down to the document on the table.

"Am I disturbing you?" asked Ha Joon while taking a seat on the couch.

"Yes, you are." Taehyung replied sarcastically. Ha Joon chuckled with his friend answer.

"Then, I'll just sit here until you're done with your work." Said Ha Joon, leaning his body against the couch with a silly smile.

He just couldn't hold himself about how happy he was at this moment when the conflict between him and Hyerin finally ended. She was no longer hating him.

Taehyung took a glance at his friend's sassy face and it just made his heart burning in fire. Did he come here to show off his happiness? He mumbled resentfully.

"What's wrong with you?" he asked though he already expected the reason why. Ha Joon looked at him.

"Why?" He asked.

"You're incredibly happy since you stepped your legs into my room." Taehyung told.

"Oh, is that too obvious?" Ha Joon questioned him, still with a smile. Taehyung scoffed. Feeling annoyed with his question.

"Yes." He answered.

"Ahhh, that because... I felt so damn happy right now. My lovable girl from head to toe finally forgave me. She didn't hate me anymore. It's a relief." Ha Joon said.

"Oh really? Good for you." Taehyung responded shortly before darted down to his work.

"But Taehyung, why didn't tell me that you and Chae Yeon..."

Taehyung tossed his eyes on him when that girl's name was mentioned.

"How did you know that?" he cut him off.

"I met her last morning and she told me everything." Said Ha Joon recalling the moment when he unintentionally met that girl at the convenience store before heading to the hospital yesterday.

"Ohh. Then, since you already knew that, so, there's no need for me to tell you anymore." Taehyung snapped. Ha Joon crossed his arms while stared at his friend.

"I didn't know that you actually still love her and... so did her. Remembering how she left you with nonsense excuses, it's hard for me to believe that both of you getting back together now. But, since it was your choice, then... there's nothing I could say now. I hoped, your relationship will last forever." He said. Taehyung silence, he didn't know what to say.

"By the way, she'd invited me to her birthday party this weekend. I think I have to start finding a partner for the event." Ha Joon added with another silly smile. Taehyung frowned.

"Partner?"

"Yes. It would be boring if I go alone. You have her so I wanted someone to come with me too." He told as his mind already have someone. "Hmm, I think I should go now, sorry for disturbing you. I just... wanted to share my happiness." He grinned before standing up from the couch and walked toward the door to leave.

He smiled at Taehyung again before closing the door. Taehyung sighed.

So, who will he bring as a partner? Perhaps... her?

"Hi..." greeted Ha Joon while approaching Hyerin at the station.

"Don't be so friendly to me." Warned Hyerin slowly while her eyes reading something on the computer screen. Ha Joon smiled.
