CHAPTER 28 (PART 1)

Hyerin and Nurse Cho inside the treatment room to treat the patient when one of the ER doctors rushed into the room.

"How's the patient doing?" Dr. Yoo asked.

"His vital is normal. I think it's okay to move him out of the room." Informed Hyerin.

"Okay, move him and you can go home." He told.

"Yes." Hyerin replied and nodded at Nurse Choi to move the patient.

After everything at the ER was done, Hyerin was ready to leave the station toward the changing room when a familiar voice resonated nearby.

"Rin-ah!" Ha Joon called, causing her to returned her back and looked at him.

"Hmm, what's wrong?" She asked.

"You're going back home?"

"Yes." Hyerin replied.

"If you don't mind, can we talk for a while?" Ha Joon said. Hyerin frowned her brows.

"What's the matter?" she wanted to know.

"Hmm, by any chance, are you free this weekend?" Ha Joon asked, hoping that Hyerin would answer yes. Hyerin thought for a while before answer.

"Maybe not. Why?"

"Oh, my friend invited me to her birthday party this weekend. So, I planned to ask you and go with me." He told.

"Birthday party? Hmm, your friend must be rich to hold a party. But, I'm sorry I couldn't join you." She said.

"But why?" Ha Joon wanted to know.

"Yah, that party for rich people like you. I didn't even have a nice dress to wear. So, I decided to stay at home." She refused.

"If the dress you're worrying about, don't worry. I will handle that but please, Rin-ah, go with me?" he pleaded. Hyerin rolled her eyes with an annoying face. Huh!

"Okay, how many layers of cake they'll serve?" she asked out of sudden.

"Hmm, maybe seven?" Ha Joon replied jokingly.

"Will they serve ice cream?" she asked again.

"I'll make sure they will." He answered.

"Okay, then I will go." She gave an answer. Ha Joon smiled.

"Really? Alright, I'll fetch you at home..."

"No, don't do that! I'll text you where we have to meet but please, not at my house." She warned. She wouldn't let Ha Joon know that she stayed at Taehyung's place. She just not ready yet.

"Ahhh, okay." Ha Joon smiled.

"Okay, now I want to go. Bye." Hyerin said before leaving to the changing room.

Ha Joon stayed at the hospital tonight as he was on duty.

"Eonni, where are you going?" asked Hyun Min.

"I have something to buy at the mart." Hyerin told. Today, she would go to the hospital at noon, so she has to prepare lunch for Hyun Min before that.

"Oh okay. Don't forget snacks and chocolate for me." Hyun Min grinned.

"Okay." Hyerin scoffed before strode her legs out of the house as Mr. Han already waiting for her outside.

Ten minutes later, they've arrived at the mart and Hyerin resorting her ways inside the mart to buy all the ingredients for lunch while Mr. Han waiting for her at the car.
