A month passed since Hyerin having her internship at KTH Medical Centre. Throughout the times, so many things happened whether in the hospital or at home.
Luckily, she was able to hold it until now though sometimes, she almost gave up the things.
As for today, during lunch break, Hyerin didn't join the others at the café instead of hanging out at her mother's ward.
Mrs. Park still needed some sort of treatment and therapy, so she couldn't be discharged yet. It's been a while since the surgery and many things they have to monitor before they let her discharge.
Hyerin checked the IV bag when her mother awake from sleep. She smiled before took a seat on the chair next to the bed.
"You're here again?" asked Mrs. Park.
"Yes. It was lunchtime. I wanted to spent time with you." She answered cheerfully while helped her mother to straighten her body and made her leaned against the pillow at the back.
As she has done with that, she took out the lunch box she brought from the home and opened that.
Lately, her mother having a poor appetite. She could accept the foods well even for the hospital's food. That's why Hyerin had to cook something on her own to ensure she would eat something.
Thanked God, it worked. She wanted to eat though not in a large quantity but it was better than nothing.
Mrs. Park smiled before opened her mouth to receive the food from her daughter. "You're not eating with me?" she asked.
"I'll eat after this." she told and feed one more spoon before her mother asked for water. She acted in obedience and gave her the water before continuing the lunch.
"I'm full." Said Mrs. Park, couldn't afford to receive any food anymore. Hyerin put the lunch box on the table.
"Is there anything you want?" Hyerin asked but her mother just shook her head.
"Rin-ah, when will I discharge from here? I was sick enough with this environment. I want to go home." Told Mrs. Park.
"I know it was hard for you but now, Doctor still need to monitor your health and when you already strong enough, I'll make sure you can go home, okay?" Hyerin said.
"But, it would be costly. I don't want to burden you with the cost. Just let me get out of here. I'm okay." Mrs. Park insisted on her words. She knew, the longer she was here, the more cost would be incurred.
Though she knew that it would be settled by Hyerin's boss, but still, she didn't want to toss the burdensome to someone else.
"Don't worry about that, eomma. What important right now is your health." Hyerin said.
"But Rin-ah..."
"Eomma, I knew it's not your style to made anyone burden and sort of. I promise, when I have enough money, I'll pay back all the cost to him. But please, don't say that you want to get out of here. I want you to fully recover and it was so important for me right now." She avowed.
Same like her mother, she was not a type to made people trouble with her problems and she knew Taehyung already helped her enough to the point she sometimes thought if she could afford to pay back all the hospital cost he paid all this time.
But, whatever happened, she still would pay all of that. She didn't want to bear the debt for her entire life.
"That meant, you have to work with him for your entire life?" Mrs. Park said. Hyerin curled a light smile.
Entire life? If only I could do that. But remembered about Chae Yeon warning last time, she wondered if Taehyung would really fire her at any time soon.
