CHAPTER 34

After having a cup of coffee at the vending machine, Taehyung walked through the hallway to return to the ER department.

"Doctor?" called one lady, causing him to stopped his footstep and looked at her struggling with her wheelchair.

"Oh, Ma'am?" he bowed, didn't expect that he would meet Hyerin's mother there. Mrs. Park smiled.

"I just wandered around here when I saw you." She told.

"Oh, I see." Taehyung nodded with a smile.

"Are you busy right now, Doctor?" Mrs. Park asked him.

"Not for now. May I know why?" Taehyung countered the question back.

"Can we have a talk for a while?" Mrs. Park said. Taehyung thought for a moment before nodded in agreement.

"We got the CT result back." Said Nurse Shim, handing the result that she obtained earlier to Hyerin. Hyerin removed the Stethoscope before took the result from her. "Her diarrhea is not getting better and... she had gas too." Nurse Shim added.

Hyerin looked at the result. "She seemed to have an internal obstruction. She has a fever and numbness too." Hyerin explained before put the result beside. She looked at the patient.

"Grandma, where did it hurt the most?" she asked softly.

"It hurt the most right here." Said the old lady while pointed toward her abdomen area.

"I'll check here, okay?" she asked and the patient nodded. Hyerin slowly pressed on that area, causing a whined from the patient.

"What should we do, Doctor?" Nurse Shim asked.

"It dangerous with abdominal distension and low blood pressure. Please call Doctor Song quickly and make an arrangement for surgery."Hyerin said.

"Okay." Nurse Shin nodded.

"Don't forget to inform her family." She told.

"Okay, I got that." Nurse Shim said before left.

"Excuse me." Hyerin stated before leaving to the station with the CT result she got earlier.

"Hyerin-ah! Yah!" Song Yi and Min Jae greeted her at the nurse station. Hyerin looked at them before handing the patient's report to the nurse in charge.

"Hyerin, I was really shocked when they informed me that you're the one who got stuck inside the elevator last night. Are you alright?" Song Yi asked, inspecting her friend's body from the right to the left.

Hyerin rolled her eyes with Song Yi overreaction. "I'm okay. Don't examine me like I just hit by the car. I just locked inside the elevator." Said Hyerin.

"Really? It's a relief." Song Yi breathed out in relief.

"I heard, Dr. Kim was there too that time. The nurses said that he looked so worried and panic when you were inside there. Was that true?" Min Jae questioned her with a teasing smile.

"Panic? How would I know that? I'm inside the elevator and panic by myself. So, I couldn't see anything instead of darkness and death. Though I was got out of there, still I have no chance to see at anyone face especially him." Hyerin said.

"Really? Hmm, it would be so cool to have someone worried and panic like that because of us, right? Especially when he is someone we love." Song Yi stated. Hyerin scoffed before looked at Min Jae.

"Yah, Min Jae-ah, make sure you do that when Song Yi getting stuck inside the elevator or whatsoever. Okay?" she told before leave them to do a patient visit.
