CHAPTER 5

Hyerin stepping out of the house to throw a pile of rubbish and after which, she tied back the plastic and close the lid. She turned around to return when her eyes caught on something. To be exact, not something but someone was hiding behind the nearest tree outside the gate.

Hyerin tried to look at the person. It was a girl and she obviously throwing her eyes on Taehyung's house. She realized Hyerin was looking at her and she quickly covered her eyes with the sunglasses and left the place before her figure disappeared behind the wall at the end of the road.

Hyerin frowned. Who is she? She convinced that the girl was looking at this house but who is she and what she wants? Hyerin tossed her eyes again at the road, waiting if that girl will appear from the wall but... she's nowhere to be found. Perhaps... she's a thief or series murder? Omo!

"What are you looking at?" asked someone.

"Kkamjjakiya!" Hyerin jumped out startled. She turned her back just to see Taehyung was there, staring at her with wrinkles on his forehead.

"Taehyung-ssi, can't you reprove me properly and softly? I'm having a serious heart attack since I was working here." She snapped while rubbing her chest.

"Well, I am. The problem is your overreaction. It's not my fault." Taehyung replied nonchalantly. Hyerin scoffed, annoying with his responses.

"By the way, what did you looking at just now? Are you flirting with guys?" he accused.

"No, I'm not. I just..." Hyerin threw her eyes outside the gate again. "Nothing." She said. "Excuse me, I want to go prepared lunch before someone considering to fire me just because I'm late making him a meal." She snapped before left.

He looked at her dumbfounded. What? Did she just point out that words to me? Heol! That Panda! He scoffed at the thought of it.

Taehyung ready to get inside the house before his legs froze for a moment. He turned back and looked outside the gate. He just wondered what Hyerin saw just now as he noticed that girl seemed like looking for something or maybe someone. But, what was that?

He inspected at the right and left and every corner of the road, but he found nothing strange and of course there was nobody. Everything looking just fine. The road still perfectly on its place. The houses also still stood on the ground, not inside the sea. So, there was nothing weird about it.

So maybe just saw a ghost who supposed to wandered around at night but gone astray at the time like this. Or maybe because she was crazy, so everything she did just now because she wanted to show him that she was crazy. Taehyung nodded as he satisfied with his own speculation.

He then turned around and walking inside the house before he became crazy like her. But when his legs just touch the floor, Hyerin approached him while catching a breath. Taehyung startled.

"Yah! Are you insane? This isn't a playground for you to running like that!" Taehyung said.

"Emergency! I need help. It's serious and... I don't know what I need to do. I'll die if... I couldn't make it. No... I mean, us! We will die. Omo, ottokae? Omo!" Hyerin exclaimed, obviously panic. Taehyung frowned with her statement before something crossed his mind.

"Omo! Did you just burn the kitchen? Yah! You'll die if all my things were burned!" Taehyung once again made his own speculation. He was ready to run toward the kitchen when Hyerin quickly stopped him.

"No! It wasn't a kitchen." She told. Taehyung stared at her. "Then why?"

"I mean, all the cooking ingredients, raw food, chicken, fish, shrimp, and even eggs... everything was gone. I mean, ran out. I have only this for lunch." Hyerin explained while pointed out at the piece of pepper and green onion to him.
