CHAPTER 16

(Flashback)

Taehyung picked the very last things to store inside the box. His hand moved slowly toward the thing and stare on it long. The piece of paper but ain't just a normal paper.

Because of that thing, he accidentally hurt someone. No, to be honest not just one but maybe two or three or more.

That's why, from this moment, he wanted to destroy everything that could make him and others hurt even more. He wanted to start a new life without haunted by those hurtful memories.

"I knew you hurt when you were dumped by someone you love dearly. I knew it was so fucking hurt. But, don't you ever think that you are the only one who had that kind of feeling. It's not only you, Taehyung-ssi."

Yes, what Hyerin told her that night was totally right. It's not like he was the only one who's getting hurt in this world.

"You suffered a lot all these times. You punished yourself and even your family. You made them sad without you realizing that."

And yes, he knew that's not only him but his family had to suffer along with him. Because of him to be exact. But he never cared about that because all these times, he only thinking about his only heart.

"Okay, just do what you want. Just stayed in that kind of life you think it was better than change and continue your hobby to be a useless guy in this world."

So, today he wanted to forget everything. He couldn't afford to be a useless guy in this world anymore.

He had many other things to do rather than living in this kind of misery forever. He still has a future to take care of. So, in order to do that, forgetting everything happened in the past is the right thing.

Taehyung sighed heavily before putting the destroyed music sheet inside the box. This would be the memory box for him. Or maybe a very worst memories he ever had.

He closed the lid before taped it tightly. He'll ask Mr. Han to throw it away later. He just couldn't let himself to do that by his own. He didn't know why but he afraid he couldn't do that.

Hyerin flipped the curtain just to see two figures standing up while facing each other near the pool. She couldn't listen to the things they've talked about but just by looking at them was enough to make her heart pain badly.

She had no idea why that girl would come back. Wasn't she's the one who left Taehyung? But why she was here again? For what? Perhaps, she wanted to get back with him?

"I'm sorry..." said the girl after being silent for a while. "Taehyung... I'm really sorry."

Taehyung didn't respond. "Please... Taehyung looked at me. I'm really sorry. I..."

"For what?" Taehyung asked.

"For... for..."

"For leaving me? Or for deceiving me? Or maybe for broken the promise? Or for hurting me? For what Chae Yeon-ah? For what you came here and said all of this thing?" Taehyung snapped angrily.

"Taehyung..." Chae Yeon broke into tears.

"Don't you dare to cry in front of me! I won't fall into those acting anymore." He shot strictly.

"I still love you, Taehyung. I meant it. I love you so much. Please forgive me. I promise I'll not leave you anymore. Please..." Chae Yeon begged.

"Never create a promise if you cannot be sure of it, Chae Yeon. Now, I think it's better if you get out of this house before I'm getting mad. Please go!" Taehyung said.
