Chapter 38| Intertwine

"Wake up,ugly" I hear, as the person was squeezing my cheeks

I stood up half-awake, my eyes were squinted as I carried myself to sit

But luckily, after how many seconds, I started getting a good view of my surroundings

"lets go!" Sean calls

"what time is it?" I asked removing the blanket from my legs

"Six in the morning" Sean replies

"How did you get in here so early" I asked, as I furrowed in confusion

"The door" Sean replies, laughing

"Obviously" I replied, rolling my eyes playfully

"Just kidding, your mom let us in" Sean replies

"Wait, so by we you mean your family and so theyre waiting for me to get dressed?!" I asked as I took my clothes vigorously and ran my way to the shower

"Yeah, probably" He shrugged

Oh no, this is embarrassing was the only thing I can say or think right now. I feel like a VIP letting everyone wait for me. This is just no.

"Okay, lets go" I replied as I took my bag slinging it off , inhaled and grabbed Sean by the shoulders

"That was quick" He looked back, with my hands still on his shoulders

I then removed my hands from his shoulders, and ran my way downstairs

"Guys, lets get going so we can have more spare time for later!" Mrs.Lew says as she clapped her hands racing her way to the car

We all then went out, trying to fit two people with one family at the door

"Guys, one by one" Sean says, having a ridiculous look on his face

"Anak, fix your hair" My mom points at my hair

"Ill do it in the car" I replied, removing my ponytail

"Anak, give me your bag" My mom says, reaching out her arms

"Wait, where will I stay, Ma?" I asked 

"You'll be staying with the Lew family, anak" My mom replies

"How about you?, ma" I asked as I went closer to her

"Thats okay, Sean will be leaving soon and I just want the both of you to make the most of it, okay anak?. dont worry because I'll follow you guys ahead." My mom states

"Okay ma" I replied as I let out a deep sigh, I gave her a hug and a kiss to go by

"Ready?" Sean asks, opening the door as I went in

"Definitely" I replied, as I bounced my way to the seat

"Sarah, Serris, Sean and Anne, all here?" Mrs.Lew asks as she looks onto the mirror above 

"Yes" We all replied

Sarah and Serris sat in the back while Sean and I sat infront

"Psst, look here!" He says, facing the camera towards my face

"Halo" I said and waved at the camera with a broad smile

"This is going to be a long day, traffic in Los Angeles early in the morning" Mrs.Lew says, holding into the steering wheel with a tighter hold

I turned to look at the beautiful gradient skies of Los Angeles, beautiful sunrise with a beautiful view.

"Two more hours till we reach our destination!" Mrs.Lew exclaimed

Minutes has passed and I felt myself feeling drowsy

I then decided to lay my back on the seat, letting myself doze off for the long ride.

As I was trying to take a nap I felt some weight on my shoulder, I looked over to Sean and his head was laying on my shoulder. 

"I'm sleepy" He says

"You're not alone" I replied

"Mornight" Sean says

"Mornight?" I chuckled, confused of what it meant

"Morning and night, a weird term I use to creep people out" Sean replied

"I dont feel creeped out" I replied

"Thank you" Sean replied, laughing showing his dimples

"Mornight" I say

"Mornight" He replies, laughing

I was half asleep when I decided to plug my earphones on and started playing some sad songs to let myself doze off, but before I did I felt Sean intertwine his hands with mine.

I was slowly getting the vibe of sleeping but then I heard Serris and Sarah were laughing behind us, so I just let is slide.

"Sean, we can see what youre doing there" They muttered as a soft laugh escaped from my mouth
