Chapter 42 | Laziness & Sadness

"Im sorry Bailey, I really cant right now." I let go of her grip, as I was really not in the mood for anything but just to stay in bed but stare at a wall blankly.

"Im not giving up yet, ill come back for you." Bailey said, glaring at me.

This girl, i let out a laugh.

This is what love does to a person, mostly when it comes to the person you care about, so far apart from you. It feels like silence is all there is. But just like what they say, distance seems so little when someone means so much. Cheesy.

I kept thinking..

Few months isnt that long

I went to get my phone and still no updates from Sean yet.

I was starting to get worried for a while but of course, i trust Sean and i believe he knows what hes doing. At least.

The day has been going by so slow, very slow. At some point, i just want it to be night so ill be able to see him, again. Not in real life but on screen. At least. I sighed.

"Anne, why arent you eating?" My mom questioned me.

"Nothing mom, can I be excused?" I said, running up the stairs on my way to my room.

I flopped onto the bed, staring st the ceiling; sighing, laughing at my pathetic love story. I was laughing bitterly, as I did tears started seeping through my pillow, I have lost hope that my happiness and smiles would return. Ive never felt so lonely. There are just days when you have all your friends around but you still feel incomplete and lonely.

I slept to take off the pain.

I was in the middle of sleeping until my phone rang and Sean decided to facetime.

"Good morning?" Sean asked, letting out a laugh looking at me who definitely just woke up from a nap.

I was delighted to finally see and hear Sean again. Very.

"I guess you can call it that." I chuckled.

"Hows day two?" Sean asked

"Still the same, pretty boring." I said, not wanting him to know what ive actually been foing for the past days without him, weeping in bed.

"Well, once i get back. Well receive each others first kiss." Sean laughed, showing his adorable dimples

"Sean!" I exclaimed, flushing red with embarrassment

"You cant say that!" I facepalmed, flushing red as I was covering my face with one hand.

"Im serious." Sean said, trying to keep a straight face.

"Ill punch you if you do, im serious." I joked, i mean jokes are half meant?

"Well, meet you later in my dreams!" Sean said, saying his goodbyes

"Sean!" A girl exclaimed from the videocall. I wanted to check who it was but before i did it ended.
