Chapter 40 | Promises

It was a good morning to wake up to, I felt happy and got that heavy weight off my chest. I totally forgot the fact that Sean's leaving today.

I headed towards the bathroom to get myself cleaned up.

I threw on a plain white shirt some faded blue pants and some slip on vans.

"You ready?" Sean asked, looking down at his feet

"I guess so" I replied, so unsure with how I feel about him leaving

We got out, each of us holding luggages, all set to leave. I let out a deep sigh. Sure enough I wasnt ready for this

We got all set inside the car, safety seated.

I laid my back on the seat, comfortably as Sean asks "So, what will you do while im away?"He asks.

"I dont really know yet, probably the same routine over and over again, except no thrill, or I'll probably cry my eye balls out." I joked

"Too bad Sean Lew wont bring 'thrills' to your life. Aw" He teased, wearing a pityful face

"Dont get too cocky now" I joked

"Okay everyone!, Hurry hurry!" Mrs. Lew exclaimed, waving frantically at us through the entrance of the airport. As I pointed my toes, I tried searching in a whole bunch of crowds.

"Let's go" Sean sadly said while grabbing my hand, sure enough he wasn't ready to leave just yet. Seeing his sadness planted right in his face makes me sad as well, but knowing Sean he'd be more unhappy if I'd show sadness.

We were finally a step away into the boarding area.

"I guess this is it." Sean said, holding a grip of my hand. His grip was quite tight, though it hurt I'd of course miss it one day, or everyday.

"Remember that ill always be there for you, even though were miles apart now or I may not be able to cheer for you with the crowds, remember I'll always cheer you on."  I said, as my tears were about to fall.

"I'm sorry, but if you guys min-" The attendant retorted, being cut off by Serris

"Please let them have this moment" Serris politely asked, luckily there weren't as much of people going to the same flight as Sean so it made it easier for Serris to talk them out.

"Don't cry, I hate seeing people sad. Especially you. I'll be back in a few months and I'll be sure to keep my promise. Once I'm back, you'll be mine, and I'll be yours. I know this is sappy but its worth it." Sean said, wiping off my tears. He kissed my forehead and we said our last goodbyes, scratch that, I don't like goodbyes.

"I love you." Sean said.

He said it.

My heart was beating so fast, I had butterflies in my stomach. I didn't know what I did to deserve this. How a fan turned into someone close to him. I had mix emotions right now. I didn't know whether to feel happy or sad at this point.

"Same goes with you, I love you too." I replied.
