Krey's POV

The sun is blinding as Avery leads me through the door. I want to raise a hand to block the sun but I didn't move my arm. I looked around and was glad the sun was out of my face but cringed inwardly.

So I wasn't the best in front of large crowds that was for sure and at the moment I am surrounded by two packs. Stress much, Avery's hand squeeze mine reassuringly. I take a deep breathe and smile as we walk past the packs.

We reached the front and I felt utterly exposed with all the eye on me. Dropping his hand I turn an face him. Theirs a bright smile on his face and my hear swells, and then shatters a little. If only he knew.

"We are here today the Swift Creek and the Black River pack to celebrate the new Alpha and Luna of the Swift Creek Pack." I looked over at one of the older member of my new pack. He was smiling as he talked his hand clasped in front of him.

He looked relaxed must not have been his first time doing this, at closer looks he was ancient. Must have been a couple generations back.

"Now we have the rings presented to the New Luna and Alpha." He nodded his head and Avery removed two flawless clear rings from his pocket.

I beamed they were beautiful and from what I could see their was an inscription. He took my hand.

"With this you'll be forever bound, as Luna and Alpha." I didn't break eye contact with Avery. Everything seemed to slow as I looked at him my stage fright forgotten.

The light danced behind him as the trees let sunlight peak in behind him. It was beautiful, his hair caught the sun, and the colors refracted brighting his hair. His skin was tanned from all his time outside. His eyes warm and kind, I drank in the sence and recounted it to memory. I never wanted to forget this moment.

I felt like it's be a long time before things would be calm again. I watched his take my hand and slide the it onto my ring finger. It was cold and lighter than I though it would be. He handed me the other ring. And I smile reaching for his left hand I slide it on. He smiles back at me.

"It's complete. The New Alpha and Luna of Swift Creek." He said and their was a loud clapping and cheering from both packs. I turned along with Avery and saw my brother and family. He was smiling, dressed in a suit it made him look good. His mate was right beside him she was beaming and giving me a thumbs up.

My mom was crying a little and my dad has his arm around her waist. She look stunning her hair was long shorter than mine but was in loose ringlets, she was dressed in a slim black dress. My father looked just as good he was in a dark suit.

I smiled at them and I felt tears prick my eyes but I didn't want to cry in front of either of my pack so I didn't I smiled. And made my way into the dining room. Where everyone was moving towards.

"Congrats little sis." I turn and find my brother. I stick my tongue out at him.

"I'm not so little anymore you know." I raise and eyebrow and chuckle.

"I know that, but I am proud of you, your going to be an amazing Luna."

I stopped and turned hugging my brother. He hugged me back. He was warm I had to admit I missed him, but he would come to visit sometimes and vies versa, I would go see him.
