Clips From Filming the Deathly Hallows Pt. 1

Evangeline's delightful singing echoes from a part of the set quietly, just loud enough for Dan to notice, and he stops halfway in his sentence to listen in on the soft sounds that nobody else noticed until then. He looks left to her makeup/hair wardrobe is and then back at the camera.

Dan: "Eva's here," he says sprightly.

Cameraman: "Is that how you know she is there? She sings often?"

Dan: "Oh, uh yeah, sometimes," he said. "Whistling, chatting, practicing lines, messing around with the crew --- oh yeah, and she's like really fascinated with set construction--

Evangeline: "Talking about me?" *She steps forward from behind him*

Dan: *jumps a bit* "Yep,"

Evangeline: "I don't see why everyone else isn't fascinated with it. I mean look at this place!" She said truthfully, wondering at the Great Hall.

"Evangeline Ross for 7:00 interview?" A reporter asks.

"That's my que!"

DURING THE INTERVIEW

"Dan and Emma said that the crew doesn't let anyone take any items off set, but only on occasion. Have you taken a souvenir of some sort?"

"Uhm, well, I hate to say that I am a bit like Evanora in the sense that I do like little things just for memories sake, however I have not stolen anything from the Harry Potter set. Yet," she adds, raising a brow at the camera. "Of course, I'm only joking, but you know how Dan fiddles with his wand all the time? He's always had to get new ones cause he scratches them but I've got like the same wand that I had since they switched it out in the third film to a really shiny one, so I really want to buy that one once I get out of here,"

"You know Dan has had to get his wand replaced around 80 times over the past ten years?"

"What?! Wait, so what did they do with the 80 wands? I want one!"

"If you got to keep one prop from the set what would you keep?"

"Oh, that's really hard. Especially since Evanora doesn't really have any sort of small personal belongings that meant a lot to her throughout growing up. . . *gasps* The dress! I want the dress that I wore to the Yule Ball that Sirius got for Evanora. It is actually specifically tailored to me, and still fits, surprisingly. Wait no -- I want the ring that Harry got Evanora. No, actually -- i've got it. This one, for sure, I have to have at least one common item of stained/ripped/or torn clothing that she wore in the beginning few films. WAIT NO. (So sorry,) changed my mind. I know what I want. I want either the old grey t-shirt with the black u-neck rim and the really soft black jacket with the the lines on the arms, you know, the outfit he was wearing when she fell into his chest -"

"There is a reason that you specifically remember the outfit and how soft it felt," the reporter concluded.

"Well. . . Yeah," she admitted, controlling her skin tone so that it didn't turn pink. At that moment, Dan popped his head out of the curtains.

"I didn't know that," he said surprised. At that moment, her face turned slightly pink and she smiled as she bit her lips to a close and threw the small pillow that was behind her back at his face aggravatedly. "Alright -- I'm going," he says quickly before his head disappears. She looks back to the camera and laughs awkwardly.

"Sorry," she apologized to the reporter.

"You know I bet i'm faster than you," Evangeline retorted, stretching her legs. "After all, I do play Evanora,"

"Yeah, but i've got longer legs and more energy than you," Dan said.

"Well that's not fair, you're like a living espresso," She said. Several of the crew members laughed.

After warming up her muscles, stretching the crap out of them, she took off when instructed at a normal speed, but then her pace picked up rapidly per step and she was jumping over logs, whipping spells at the tree. When they finally cut the scene, she sat down on the grass floor.

"I'm . . . still. . . faster. . . ." she said, panting
