I turned away from 'Babbity Rabbity and the Cackling Stump' and looked down to watch Harry and Ron become best friends again as they talked humbly. Guys are so different from girls. They aren't verbal about their feelings, but show brotherhood and loyalty in simple actions, such as sitting together like this."I've just realized. You need a wand, don't you?" Ron said. "I've got one here." He dug through his rucksack. I shifted in my seat to turn completely toward them from the table I was sitting at. "Blackthorn, ten inches. Nothing special, but I reckon it'll do,"
"I've got one of those," I chimed, and rose from my seat and sat down on some steps closer to where they were sitting to see the wand. Ron leaned towards me and smiled slightly.
"Don't tell Hermione this, but this one was definitely part troll, the smell of him,"
I chuckled softly, remembering when the troll had gone into the girl's lavatory.
Harry took the jet-black wand and waved it at the candle in front of him.
"Engorgio," he said calmly. Fire exploded from the candle and lit the room twice as bright. "REDUCIO!" Harry shouts and the flame goes no bigger than the size of a child's fingernail.
"That explains a lot," Ron said referring to me.
"No kidding," Harry added, and they looked to me.
A light voice called from outside. "What's going on in there?" Hermione asked.
Immediately, both Ron and Harry called back: "Nothing!" I looked at them before standing up and calling out to her.
"Hey, Hermione, could you come in here please?" I grabbed Hermione's book I was reading off the table and spoke to Ron and Harry. "We need to talk." I said these words looking at Hermione through the slightly open curtains of the tent. Ron and Harry stood up and they all positioned themselves around me as I explained. "Hermione and I were talking earlier. . ." I began, flipping open the book to find the proper page. When I found the familiar symbol, I pointed to it and showed them.
"I think it's the reason Dumbledore gave me the book," Hermione continued for me.
I walked across the room and showed Ron and Harry the page in the book. "It's a letter Dumbledore wrote to Grindlewald. Dumbledore's signature has the mark,"
"And?" Ron asked.
"And Grindlewald is also name of the boy in the picture at the snake--- uh--thing--'s house in Godric's Hallow." I speak while pacing across the room and grab another book and frantically flip through the pages to find Grindlewald, and then hand the picture of the same boy to Harry.
"And then in the graveyard of Godric's Hallow one of the tombstones had this same mark on it--- Ignotus Peverall's grave," I explain.
"It was there too," Harry says as he stares at the tent wall across from him, thinking. I step closer to him curiously. "This symbol was outside Gregorivitch's Wand Shop."
"But what does it mean?" Ron asked.
"No idea," I said plainly. "But Xenophilous Lovegood does. He was wearing the symbol around his neck at the wedding. Look, I don't want to sit around in lonely forest for another two weeks. I have no idea where the next horcrux is, but we have to start somewhere, and this is worth a shot." They nod in agreement. "Let's eat and get some sleep. We can leave in the morning?" I decided.
