Mason Blake: Chapter 5

A: So here’s a new chapter. It’s a bit more of a filler, but it turned out pretty good…if I do say so myself lol

                “Oh no, oh no, oh no!” Maren yells two days after Mason and I did the nasty.

                “What’s wrong?” I ask.

                I mean she took one look at me and started chanting “oh no.”

                It is Monday morning, did she forget about a test or something?

                “No. No, no, no,” Maren continues to chant.

                I look at Julie questioningly who simply shrugs and sits down under the big, dead willow tree. I join her and suddenly Maren turns and points at.

                “You did it!” she yells her eyes wide.

                “I can’t believe you actually did it!” she continues and I wonder if she’s about to go into shock or something.

                “Maren, sweetie, calm down,” I coax, “Baby you need to relax,” I continue. 

                Julie joins in, “Take deep breaths Maren and come sit with us,”

                Maren nods, exhaling and inhaling deeply, before sitting on the other side of me.

                “You actually did it,” she whispers in disbelief.

                “Yeah Maren,” I rub the back of my neck like I always do when I’m nervous, “I did it,” I confirm.

                “Wait. What?” Julie asks her voice the highest I've ever heard, “You did it with Mason Blake?”

                And that’s where the story goes spiraling down. Julie just had to open her big mouth and scream it to the world and by the world I really mean the world- or at least the whole student body.

                You see everyone gathers outside in the mornings before class begins, it helps the teachers monitor everyone this way, and Julie just announced to everyone that I did it with Mason.

                Now you may be wondering: Isn’t that what she wanted?

                For everyone to know that she’s not a virgin…

                Well yes that’s what I wanted, but there was a specific, important, part to this entire little situation.

                The person I did it with was supposed to stay anonymous. And if for some reason no one believed me then Mason was going to set me up with a friend he has from another school. That way I could introduce him as my secret boyfriend (he’s from a rival school so it would make sense to keep him a secret) and after showing him off to everyone I would simply keep “dating” him for a while until finally I “broke up” with him.

                But I guess that’s out of the question now…

                “Oh my gosh I always knew it. Mason would fall for you. I can’t believe you guys are going out. I’m so jealous,” the thirtieth random girl, I’ve never talked to before in my life, walks up to me to tell me that I’m incredibly lucky to have snagged a guy like Mason.
