It has been three days since the incident with my dad and my mom said it's okay for us to go back home. I'm really hoping my dad has calmed down.
"I want you to promise to call me if anything happens. Actually, call me no matter what happens." Vic said, walking out of his house with my sisters and I.
"I promise." I told him.
"Now we gotta seal it with a kiss like they do it Supernatural." He stated. I rolled my eyes playfully but kissed his anyways.
"Guys," Kailey whined from behind us. "Stop sucking each other's face."
"Never!" Vic shouted, sloppily kissing my lips. I giggled and pushed him away from me.
"Don't do that again." I laughed, wiping my mouth with the back of my hand.
"Shut up, you loved it." He said.
"No, not really." I answered.
"I'm not ready for you to leave. I've been with you for over a week." Vic complained, pulling me into a hug. "I think I might have Kellin withdraws."
"It'll be fine. You can pick me up at any time and we hand out." I said. I was still kind of scared my dad wasn't going to let Vic come over anymore.
"Expect a call from me every night. I got way too used to falling asleep next to you." Vic explained. "It's gonna be hard for me to fall asleep now."
"Awe babe. That's so cute." I cooed, kissing his cheek.
"Shut up." He muttered sheepishly.
"Sorry to interrupt your little thing here but we really need to go. Mom said she needed to talk to us." Kelsey said, poking her head in between Vic and I.
"I know." I sighed, clinging to Vic a little more then letting him go. "I love you." I told him.
"I love you, too." He said, pecking my lips. "Remember, call me later."
"I will." I said then got in Kelsey's car. I watched Vic as we pulled away from his house then down the road.
When we pulled into our driveway, my dad's car was still there so I guess that was a good thing. We all got out of the car and slowly walked into the house.
"Mom?" Kelsey shouted, shutting the door.
"Kids, can you come into the living room?" She shouted from the living room. We walked in and I noticed my mom and dad were sitting on opposite sides of the room. Kelsey stayed as far away from our dad as possible. I don't blame her. I would be scared too. Hell, I already am.
"The first thing I want to say is I'm so sorry. Kelsey, physically grabbing you. I should have never done that. I hope I didn't hurt you. Kellin, for lashing out on you and Vic. Neither of you did anything wrong." My dad, looking genuinely sorry.
"I think you hurt both of us more mentally than physically." I whispered, looking down at the ground.
"I know. And I am so angry with myself. You kids are my everything and I would kill anyone to protect you." He explained.
"We know." Kailey said.
"There's one more thing I need to tell you." He said quietly. He paused for a second to look up at us. "I'm cheating on your mother."
My head snapped up to attention then I quickly shifted my gaze to my mom. She had tears trickling down her cheeks.
"You're what?" Kelsey boomed in anger.
"I don't love her anymore. It's unhealthy for me to be with her. My stuff is already packed so I'm leaving tonight." He explained.
"That gives you no right to cheat on her!" I shouted, rushing over to my mom. By now, she was sobbing quietly into her hand. I hugged her tightly and let her cry into my shoulder. Luckily, we were about the same height.
"I hope that one day, you will forgive me and come visit but for now I understand that you want nothing to do with me." He said, standing up from the couch.
"I'm not furious with you but I'm still pretty upset with you. But, all in all, you're still my father and I love you." I told him.
"I love you kids. Call me if you need anything ever." He said then got up and left. That was it then. He barely explained himself.
I heard a sniffle and noticed Kelsey was crying and Kailey was on the brink of tears. My mom reached over and pulled both of them into our hug, forming a family group hug.
"We have to stick to together now. No more fighting and no more lying. Also, Vic's allowed here as long as someone else is in the house." She explained after her crying ceased.
"Yeah, uh, sorry about that." I said, laughing nervously.
"It's all good. Everyone has sex at least once in their life." My mom said dismissively. "Quick question though."
"What's up?" I asked.
"Are you a top or bottom?" She asked.
"What kind of question is that?" Kailey interrupted. "Obviously he's a bottom."
I punched Kailey in the arm, "You're such an asshole." I mumbled.
"At least mine hasn't had a dick in it." She remarked.
"Okay. We are done with this conversation." Kelsey shouted.
"I like that idea." I said.
"Well, I need to get some time out of this house so I'm gonna go out with my girlfriends so I'll be back later." My mom said, grabbing her purse.
"Alright. Stay safe." I said to her as she walked out of the house.
"I'm actually gonna go shower. If you need anything, just call or something." Kelsey said, making her way to the bathroom.
"Wanna go watch some cheesy movie on Netflix?" Kailey asked, sitting down onto the couch. Our Xbox was still down here since we haven't bothered to take it back upstairs.
"Let's do it." I said, sitting down next to her.
I honestly think we'll be able to pull through this. I know it must be hard for our mom but married couples split up all the time. It will be hard, but it will be okay in the end.
