It was Monday and I was in the car with Kelsey and Kailey on our way to school. Kelsey was out all day Saturday and Sunday with her friends so I didn't see them too much. Not that I'm complaining.

"I think Vic is my new best friend." Kelsey said randomly.

"Yeah?" Kailey said. I was stuck in the backseat because I was running a little later than usual so Kailey got out here before I did. I don't really care, though.

"Yeah. We have a lot in common." She said.

"Like what?" I asked not meaning to sound rude.

"Well, for one, we both enjoy socializing, we're both into singing, we have the favorite show, and, the deal breaker, find you two annoying as fuck." She explained.

"Well shit." Kailey mumbled. 

"I thought everyone thinks we're annoying? What makes Vic any different?" I asked.

"I'm not sure. We just clicked really well. If he wasn't gay then I would let him fuck me in a heartbeat." She said.

"What? Why?" Kailey asked.

"Have you seen his body?" Kelsey half-shouted. 

"Uh, no." I said like it was obvious because, well, it was.

"Oh my god! We went skinny dipping Saturday night and damn! He has a nice body. He's really fit and shit like that." She explained. s

"Cool." Kailey said sarcastically causing me to snort.

"I also wanted to thank you for staying away from him like I asked." She said all to sweetly.

"Yeah, whatever." I said. We pulled into the school parking lot and I quickly got out of the car. 

"I didn't think Vic thought we were annoying. I mean, he was in our room all night Friday." Kailey said as we went to our lockers that were right next to each other.

"Yeah, I don't really care." I said even though I did. 

"I don't believe you but I'm going to just drop it. I'll see you in English." She said then left. I sighed and grabbed my math book and headed off to class.

I was making my way from English to lunch when someone ran into me. 

"Watch it." The person seethed. Kailey grabbed my arm and pulled me off of the floor. I saw that it was Beau, the school bully. 

"Go away Beau." I said with an eye roll.

"Don't roll your eyes at me Bostwick." He said then shoved me against a row of lockers. I groaned from the sudden contact. 

"Hey!" Kailey shouted. "Let him go."

"Get out of here princess. I don't want to hurt you just yet." He said sending her a grin. 

"Bokan!" I heard someone else shout from down the hall. "Drop the Sophomore."

"You don't scare me Fuentes." He said still holding me against the lockers.

"Dude, drop the god damn kid." He said and ripped Beau away causing him to drop me. I guess I hit the floor in the wrong way because when I landed, my ankle gave out and I fell over.

"Fuck." I muttered. Kailey came over and leaned beside me while we watched the two Juniors argue.

"Don't fucking touch me faggot!" Beau seethed. 

"It's 2016, stop using faggot as an insult." Vic said with a hint of sass.

"Faggot." Beau shouted in Vic's face. That's when he snapped. Vic threw a punch at Beau's face, which he blocked and elbowed Vic's back causing him to fall forward.
