MAYA'S CHOICE (PART 2)

   "Maya, you don't fall in love on purpose it just kinda happens." Lucas wasn't sure what Maya meant anymore. Was she telling him that she was in love with her? Was she just feeling guilty and wanted to make him feel loved?

 "I fell in love with Josh, on purpose. I what I was doing the night I let him hold me. I fell in love with you, on accident. I never meant to feel the way I do about you."

  "Maya I-"

  "NO! I have to choose between you or Josh and I just.. Wish I never fell for either of you. Because your in the hospital and Josh is in jail!"

  "Josh is in jail?"

  "Yeah, and everything about me and my mom is just leaked, I can't go to school without being called 'hit and run girl.' And I still don't who got photos of you and Riley at school and its all stressing me out!"

  Lucas wanted to say it. He wanted to say it so much. He wanted her know what he knew about the photos but didn't her to feel worse. But he knew telling her was the right thing to do.

 "Maya...the photos...Missy took them."

 "What?"

  "I saw Josh and Missy talking near the library about..Taking good quality photos of Riley and me for his website. It was the day the hurricane came by us."

  "So that's how he caught me when I fell, that's the same stop I went off of on the subway. Wait, but why did he need them?"

  "He wanted Riley to feel lonely and isolate herself from you, so she wouldn't get in the way of you and Josh."

 "How could he do that to his own niece?" Maya was furious. "First Josh leaked horrible things about her mom, then he makes his niece feel so horrible that she cuts herself."

 "Riley's been cutting herself?"

  Maya walked out of the room and walked down the hall and told Riley everything that Josh did. And she also told Riley to go talk to Lucas. She knew what she had coming her way. And she was ready for it.
