Jimin's stomach fluttered at her laughing and running around the studio with his book.

The girl giggled, twirling it above her head and away from Jimin as he chased after her, trying to nudge past all the chairs and tables moved to block him from getting to her.

"Nari!" he scolded, wanting her to stop reading from his notebook that he dabbled with writing in.

She sang a few words out, trying to see what exactly the boy had been hiding from her for the past few weeks, writing about, working with Yoongi, and all just before her birthday. She grew suspicious and Jimin knew, he couldn't help but keep it a secret even if she had a clue now.

"You writing me a song?" she asked teasingly, grinning over at the boy that stood before her when she jumped high onto the couch in the studio.

Jimin tried to hold back his smile. Behaving stern, he moved to try and whack the book away from her playful stance but simply was stopped by her one foot that went to his chest, making him freeze in his spot in front of her giggling form.

"Nari, please may I have my book back?" he piped, grinning defeated when hearing her laughing uncontrollably as time passed by.

"Nope."

"Nari-sshi," he warned, eyes narrowing teasingly when meeting hers.

She squirmed, giggling a little when he took hold of her foot that stopped him. Tugging at it, he laughed when she fell onto the couch.

Watching her pout over at him as she sat up, he grinned, leaning down to kiss her gently.

She put the book to his lips.

He snorted, smiling before taking the book away from her and into his hands.

"Ha ha."

"Fine," she popped, standing up and moving to the door, "I'll wait patiently and sweetly for my present."

"Thank you," he chimed, laughing when she winked over at him and walked to give him space.

He smiled, watching her go. Grin falling to a warm smile, he eyed the book, flipping towards the pages that he had written so far for her.

"Thank you," he repeated, joy filling within him as he stared back over at the door that was now shut.

-

"Thank you."

Jimin looked over at you, snapping at his wandering thoughts of Nari. He picked at his food.

You pursed your lips lightly, smiling a little as you tried not to flush from his gaze.

"For what?" he asked, brows furrowing a little as he looked over at you slowly devouring the food that he had brought over the previous night.

"For getting me food," you said, chuckling lightly before eating away again.

It was a new morning and a new day. And yet, it was so natural to have woken up to Jimin still on your bed. Sure, you were surprised at first, not knowing how to handle getting ready together so friendly in the morning either.

It was a great night the other night, just the two of you with no interruptions. But at the same time, nothing really seemed to change much. He still smiled and joked with you how he normally did, and you still didn't hold back on the remarks about his butt. It was a beautiful friendship indeed, you sighed, laughing a little internally as you knew you clearly had a deepening thing for him. You feared for it to fall to be more than a crush. God forbid that day ever came.
