A/N: This chapter is well, I was on more coffee and just having a little fun with it aha. Nothing big or serious going on in this one.

.

"Still in denial?" You asked softly.

"About what?"

"Missing her," you piped quietly, heart knotting as you spoke.

He sighed, his face almost buried into the book before him.

"It's okay that you do..."

He eyed you carefully, "What are you? My tutor or my shrink?"

You licked your lips a bit, the pencil in your hand lamely moving between the hold of your soft fingertips.

"Whatever you need," you whispered out.

The smile on your face was pained, yet spoke numbers about how genuinely intrigued you felt to be sitting next to such a boy.

You glanced over at Jimin who was eyeing you gently.

You chuckled a little, trying to branch out from the confused emotions you were feeling.

"What?" You questioned, brows knitting at the cute exterior he inhabited.

"Nothing," Jimin said softly, smile sweet as he slowly looked back down at his book, "it's just...I'm here if you need anything too."

Your eyes softened.

Jimin was genuine, smile huge.

"I'm your friend Y/N," he said grinning, "I'll be your punching bag when you need one too."

.

Jimin sighed internally at that memory. Can't really be a punching bag for someone when all they'll be doing is aiming at your face, he thought to himself, knowing just how terrible of a "friend" he had been to you for quite a while now. In all honesty, at this point, he knew he didn't deserve you as a friend no longer.

The second sleepless night he had after that dreadful dance, his eyes puffy and heart sinking as soon as he gained consciousness again.

Letting out a low breath escape his mouth, Jimin's tired eyes squinted over at the drapes that flew from the slight breeze the morning offered.

Head on the cushion of the bed, Jimin's hand moved gently over the back of the woman cuddled next to him. Rubbing over her pajama top, his eyes shut, taking in the woman's scent. He relaxed slowly, becoming at ease, mind blanking away.

"Good morning," she said gently, mumbling into his side as she hugged his stressed form into her.

"Neh," Jimin softly whispered out, eyes meeting the tired one's of Nari that laid next to him.

He studied her. This was the second night he woke up with her next to him. At first, she was here the first night to simply listen to him vent, cry, maybe even kiss and complain. He had gone on and on about you...

Who you were.

What you two used to do with one another.

How important you truly were to him.

Sure, at first it was awkward to speak to Nari regarding this. But the moment she sweetly told him to continue, warm hand on his thigh and eyes bright, Jimin caved in and went straight for the truth. He had begun with the basics. How your smile was contagious, the fact that every time he blinked you wouldn't tell him he sucked at it, and the fact that you became one of his best friends in a matter of a few months.
