-ring ring-
"What time is it?" I asked rolling over and grabbing my phone.
I rubbed my eyes and answered my phone.
"Lydia?!" It sounded like Matt.
"Yeah?" I asked yawning.
"Shawn's been in a car accident." Matt sounded like he was crying over the phone.
My heart stopped, I dropped my phone and ran straight towards the front of the bus.
"Turn the bus around and head for Las Vegas! NOW!" I yelled.
"Why?" Chloe asked getting out of bed.
"Shawn has been in an accident." I started to cry.
"Do you know how bad?" She said grabbing me and comforting me.
I ran back and got my phone.
"Matt? Are you still there?" I asked.
"Yeah, he's unconscious. They're taking him to the emergency room." He answered.
I started bawling, full out crying and gasping for air.
I was a mess.
Chloe grabbed the phone from me.
"We're heading your way." Chloe said and then hung up.
"Is he going to be okay? Will he live? Will he survive?" I kept asking Chloe over and over again.
"Lydia, I don't know." She kept responding.

Which was the truth...we didn't know.
