~Allyson's POV~

When I turn my head from the deep thought I had plunged into, I see Karabo and Boithuto holding hands.

My heart aches a little.

A little? Damn I'm lying to myself, it hurts alot.

I really like Karay and there he was splitting me into two.

I had just been thinking about earlier, and quickly I wrapped my locket with my fingers. Turning back to face my front, I could feel it. His presence. The core of my existence. Oh I thought I would faint.

"Hey," his sweet voice reminds me of the angels.

"Hi there, " I giggle playfully. I hope I didn't over do it, but from the looks of things, it seemed perfect to wash away the redness in my cheeks.

** ~ Few hours later ~ **

"Guys, since everyone has settled in, and no race begins till tomorrow, how about we go site seeing?" Isaac called out as everyone tried to slide into their bed for relaxation.

"I'm exhausted. You guys can go without me." I call out.

"Me too," Karay says.

"I'm so in for site seeing" Everyone else calls in unison.

Awesome, a penthouse all to myself and Karay of course. Just great. I hope you notice the sarcasm in my thought.

I walk over to the tv room and switch it on, hoping to see if anything was published about the Olympic games.

A few minutes later, I could feel the presence of the boy I longed. This all seemed weird and awkward. I mean he is 3 years older than me. But, but. It just didn't feel that way. In any case, I'm pretty sure he just didn't see me like that.

"The Olympic games have begun with basketball and synchronized swimming. Later on today it'll be just normal swimming and softball. Tomorrow will kick off with the short distance heats and in the evening the heats for the longer distances. All teams competing should be there an hour before their event begins." , the man in the tv states.

My stomach growls which embarrasses me, I mean Karay was just a few centimeters from me. But he seemed very comfortable with the small distance between us while I was suffocating. My heart racing, and I was at a lose of breathe.

"Hungry?" He turns towards me.

"Y-yeah, I guess." I stutter out.

"Want a sandwich?"

"Would you make it for me?"

"Of course, Ally."

"Sure then, I'd really like that."

My cheeks were flushed in red.

He leaves the room for a few minutes and comes back to hand me my snack. I chow down my food and train for the next day's events. I would be participating the entire day seeing as my events were 100m and 200m sprints, and the 400m race. Karay and the other runners in my team just ran 400m, only Boithuto ran 200m too.
