~Allyson's POV~

I woke up the next morning to the sound of the pouring shower water. I knew it was Karay, or at least that's what I thought. As I get up to get to my shower, my door being slightly opened allows me to see a shadow sneaking out of Karay's room. Who could that possibly be? Not long after, another dark figure sneaked into the hallways.

I pushed my door open slowly. I decided to follow this mystery and see who it was. No doubt, that when I walked into the hall, I saw the second figure rush into the kitchen. Naturally, I went after it, determined to find out who it was. I then walked into the kitchen and switched on the light. I found Karay there, sticking a spoon of Coco Pops into his mouth. Beside him, was Dylan, she too was sticking a spoon of Coco Pops into her mouth. Both spoons seemed to have been coming from the same bowl though.

"Um, guys?" I was as confused as ever. Yet angry.

Karabo, was doing something really sweet and nice with a girl from his past. Although, I should be surprised, I'm not. It's something to be expected. I didn't wait for an answer, I walked away. I was upset. He promised he loved me, but here he was having breakfast with her. H-her. I narrowed my eyes at the thought of her. Her. HER.

I could feel him trying to catch up with my swift movement down at my feet. He grabbed my arm and a shook it off. I started stomping when he grabbed it a second time. He then roughly stopped moving his body, which caused an impact on his grip on my hand. His hand swung back causing my arm to do the same. Not long after, so did my body. My body and his were now inches apart, but our faces far away. He was right in front of me, but we couldn't see eye to eye. I began getting that feeling. Nervous maybe? Oh yeah, I remember now. Love. I love him. I sighed and he relaxed tension and finally let go of my arm.

He then looked me dead in the eye. He didn't even seem the least bit bothered about the closeness of our bodies. He looked down to me, and murmured something. Luckily, or unfortunately I didn't hear. I then turned back around after and walked away. I had decided to leave and go shower.

Once I finished showering, I got dressed in the team kit, and met everyone in the kitchen. They were all having different kinds of breakfast meals except for Dylan and Karay. I'm really not surprised though. I walked to the cupboard and got a bowl, I then dished some oatmeal and ate. Once everyone was ready, we headed off to the Olympic Stadium. We all had the 400m heats today. Including Boithuto and I.

In the van, Karay sat next to me, but Dylan squeezed herself in next to him. He turned and took my hand and wrapped both his hands on it. He started rubbing my palm and looked to me. His piercing eyes had met my bloodshot eyes. He lifted his hand and placed it on my face, and that's what the car came to a hault. We had reached the stadium. Everyone got out, and ran off to the indoor warm up track.

The first races were the men and women 1500m. Then the women 400m and right after was the men 400 heats. Upon arrival, at the tracks, we were greeted by the officials and the smell of sweat and dirt. I liked this smell however. It reminded me of what I loved to do, why I was here.

Inhaling and exhaling, taking every view of my surroundings, I relaxed. The first time I was here, I didn't appreciate it this much. Everyone split into groups of two or three. Leaving Dylan alone, as Karay was talking to me. She walked over and pouted to Karay.

"Kittens, I want a sandwich, I'm hungry."

"Then go and get one, spoilt brat." I said under my breathe. Luckily they both didn't hear me.

"Go, ask Isaac. He packed some."

"Sure." and she walked away.

"What's your problem?" Karay said once she was out of hearing site. He had turned to me and his eyes were hurt. It's like I was hurting him. What?

"What?" I responded, saying my thoughts.

"Do you have unknown problems with her?"

"No, why would you even think that? I didn't know her till she showed up here. She's part of your past, not mine." I put emphasis on yours.

"Ally."

"Karay."

"Are you insecure of your worth to me?"

"I don't know, should I be?"

"No. You. Shouldn't. You mean the world to me."

I gasped. I should have figured this out by now, but hearing that caused my heart to start pacing more than it already was. I stared at him, blinking a lot.

"I know, and I'm sorry."

"I understand."

"You make me happy, you know?"

What? Did I just say that aloud? Instantly, I blushed. I saw him smirk before giggling. His giggle is so adorable oh my gosh. What was he doing to me. Karay, I swear, you'll be the death of me.

He cupped my face and brought it closer to his. He came closer and closer. I was boiling hotter and hotter. I couldn't breathe. I was so intoxicated by this man that I forgot to breathe. I was going to faint. No, not now, not before this race. Was he honestly going to kiss me. He stared into my eyes a while before pulling me so close, our noses touched. Shit.

He closed his eyes, and sighed. He then, put his forehead on mine and relaxed. He opened his eyes and looked at me.

"I know, now." he smiled. He was obviously referring to the earlier statement sort of question, I had placed on the table.

I was lost for words. I stared at him and closed my eyes before burying my face in his chest. I could hear his heart beating, nearly as fast as mine. I loved this boy. I did.

Wait, what? I just.. No no no.

This was not happening.

Not after builing some strong walls around me. I had finally let someone in, I let Karay in. Karabo. I mentally corrected myself. No, not Karabo. Karay. MY Karay. And Dylan wasn't going to get in between that. I've finally admitted it to myself. I love Karay Sibanda. Mhhm.
