ZOE'S POV:
"Honesty is your daughter, Louis." I said, letting a tear drop down my face. I watched his every facial expression. It flashed from shocked, to angry, to sad, and finally, happy?
"Thank you." He whispered, grabbed my hand and squeezing it. I furrowed my brows, thoroughly confused. What?
"You're not mad?" I asked, disbelief clear in my shaky voice. I felt another tear fall down my face.
"Why would I be mad?" He smiled. I sobbed, I scooted over and leaned into his chest. His arms engulfed me, and he softly rocked me. I only cried for a few minutes, from getting such a heavy weight off my chest. He rubbed my hair soothingly, and it took me no time at all to recompose myself.
I leaned back, and wiped my face. I laughed a bit, he wasn't mad at me for keeping a huge secret, and then lying about it.
"I'm sorry for repeatedly lying to you." I apologized. He shook his head, and smiled. His hair was gloriously messy, and he looked amazing after over four years. I knew I looked like crap.
"I understand, Zo." He smiled. I smiled back, and awkwardly played with a string on my old baggy shirt.
"Can I see her?" Louis said, sounding like he was on the verge on tears himself. I sniffed, and nodded. I hoped my face wasn't red and blotchy. We climbed the stairs, and I knew Louis' heart was beating as fast as mine was. I didn't plan on telling Honesty yet. Do I tell her in front of him? How do I tell her? Oh my god, what if she hates me?
"Zoe, I think you shouldn't tell her with me here." Louis said gently as I turned the door knob. I nodded, thankful he agreed with me. He tugged on the zipper of his hoodie as we pulled the door open completely.
Honesty was sitting cross-legged on the floor, playing with her barbies like normal. I smiled, and knocked on the door a bit to prove our presence. She placed her dolls on the floor and smiled at us.
Louis' eyes glassed over, and he clutched his chest like he was holding his heart together.
He looked at me with a loving smile, and I kept my focus on Honesty.
"Hi Louis!" She finally chirped. I placed a gentle hand on Louis' shoulder.
"Don't tell her anything yet, I'll come in later." I whispered as I slid out the door. I heard him say 'hello', but I didn't listen to the rest. If I wanted to cheat I could just turn on the baby monitor.
I brewed myself another cup of tea, and sipped it slowly. I can't live without caffeine.
I settled myself on the couch, and cut the T.V on. I watched a rerun of 'Friends' as I waited for Louis to get done playing with Honesty. I texted Courtney and Haley, telling them the wonderful news.
I wouldn't tell Harry, Louis needs to tell his band members.
My heart almost stopped in my chest when I remembered that girl with brown hair from McDonalds. Was she his girlfriend? How would she deal with this bomb?
Somewhere during my second episode, Louis and Honesty came down the stairs holding hands. His nose was slightly red as was his cheeks. I smiled, and fixed my ponytail, bringing it over my shoulder.
His gaze met mine, and he smiled. I stood up, fixing my baggy shirt.
"I guess I'll go." He said. I nodded, and walked over to the door with him. He looked like he was debating something, before his arms engulfed me. My arms hung awkwardly at my sides for a minute, until I wrapped them tightly around him.
"Thank you." He whispered. He kissed the top of my head, and I smiled as we pulled away.
"Bye Honesty." He said, waving. She giggled and waved back.
