Zoe's POV:

I rolled over in my bed, and realized it was Christmas. I yanked my blankets from my body, and jumped out of bed. I saw Honesty sleeping soundly in her bed, and smiled.

I crept into Louis' room, and grimaced at the mess. There were shoes strown, a pile of clothing which may or may not be dirty, paper everywhere, and his drawers were hanging out with clothes. I picked up all the paper, and stacked it into a small pile.

I grabbed his cell phone, ignoring the rest of the mess, and stepped outside and into the bathroom.

I dialed a familiar number, and waited for the answer.

"Melody Crown speaking." I heard her smile. I drew in a shaky breath.

"Hi." I squeaked.

"Zoe, are you doing okay?" Her tone turned cold.

"I'm alright, seeing as I have somebody to take care of me, because you decided it would okay to kick me out with a few hours of warning." I snapped.

"Are you ready to come home?" She asked.

"No, I'm not going home." I stated, confused.

"Why not?" I pictured her eyes rolling. I sighed.

"Mom, you can't kick me out to teach me a lesson anymore. I'm an adult with a daughter." I played with a bottle of soap.

"So?" She drew out the word.

"So, Louis and I are now in a serious relationship. I'm living with him and soon we'll be getting a house of our own." I chewed on my lip.

"Okay, Zoe. Who was there for you when you were sixteen and you had no money, no man, nothing. Who helped you?" She was getting angry.

"You did, because you wanted to." I reminded her. "Let's not forget you kicked me out while I was pregnant for a whole night."

"I understand Zoe. I'm just such a horrible Mother. Bye." She hung up. I banged my head against the counter until I felt a tear slid down my face. I checked the time, and I noticed it was eight again. I looked in the mirror one last time. I jumped when a soft tapping was on the door. I pulled it open.

"You okay?" Louis asked, sleeping laced his eyes.

"I'm fine, here." I smiled, and handed the phone to him. I pulled my hair into a bun as he walked over to the toilet.

"Um, you're just gonna do that while somebody's in here?" I asked, dumbfounded.

"I was gonna wait, but if that's how you roll, okay." He grinned. I scoffed, and left. I would wait to brush my teeth. I closed the door to give him more privacy, and walked into my bedroom to make sure Honesty was still asleep.

Peeking down the hall, I saw Liam's door open, and decided to go explore. I stopped at his doorframe, and saw his room empty. I scrunched my face at his mess, and sneaked in there.

I straightened it up a bit, and smiled at the now clean room. I slipped back into the hallway, and went into the bathroom again after seeing it empty. I brushed my teeth quickly as I awaited Honesty's awakening.

Honesty ran out of the bedroom, banging every door on the level to wake everyone up.

"What are you doing, honey?" I asked, running after her.

"It's Christmas!" She yelled, and slowly stepped down the stairs. I followed suit, and gaped at all of the gifts.

It looked like Walmart in the living room, not to mention the updated appliances in the kitchen.
