I woke up to a harsh pain in my stomach. I groaned at the bright light and beeping of the monitor next to me. My eyes slowly opened. There was a nurse next to me writing down things on her clipboard. She was checking the monitor and IV that was in my arm.

I noticed that my body was strapped to the bed. I had my torso bandaged and I was wearing those ridiculous hospital gowns. "You're awake. How do you feel?" The nurse asked. "I'm in pain." I croaked out. Well I sounded horrible.

The nurse nodded her head and scribbled down some stuff before injecting me with medication. My throat felt dry. "Water." I said. The nurse quickly brought me a glass of water and I drank it. "How long have I been asleep?" I asked, expecting it to at least be a day. "Almost three days." The nurse answered. Damn.

Well at least I was away from the crazies. I was in the hospital part of the asylum. But I knew that once I healed, they would send me back. Oh my god. Jerome. I don't know how he's been. He's probably crying over me. Unless he's being a cold hearted bitch and forgot about me. But he wouldn't. He was crying when he saw me get shot.

I wanted to see him so bad. I wanted to kiss him and tell him I loved him. God I actually love him so much.

"How much longer am I going to be in here?" I asked the nurse when she came back. "You should be going back tomorrow morning depending how you feel." She said.

She came over and examined my wound, saying it was healing pretty well but I would have to avoid harsh movements for a few days. After that she brought some food that looked better than what they served in the asylum. She let my arms free and I ate.

She took my tray away and two guards from the asylum walked in. "Williams. Good to see you awake." One of them said. "I need to use the bathroom." I said to the nurse. She nodded her head and walked over to me, un-cuffing my legs. She helped me up and led me to the bathroom.

She left and I tried my best to not move too much. It hurt so bad.

When I was done, I had to knock on the door so the nurse could help. She quickly rushed to my side and helped me back to the bed. She handed me some more medicine and I took it.

"Your little psycho lover is going crazy without you. Getting into fights all the time, having to be on sedation all the time, locked in his cell." The guard said. I smiled at the thought of Jerome causing all this because of me.

I sighed as the nurse strapped my arms and legs again.

The rest of the day went by slow. I was watching tv all day and the nurse would come check on me every few hours. When it was 6, she brought me food. She let my arms free and I ate. When I was done, she took my tray away and actually let my arms free for the night. I was able to change the tv channel to something more interesting.

But I couldn't wait to get out of here. As much as I hated the asylum, I wanted to see Jerome.
