>Violet<

Everything was so hazy. I saw the faint figure of Jerome on the other side of the park. I chuckled and waved. "Babydoll" echoed through my ears. Jerome's figure seemed to be getting close. My hand slightly reached out and touched his face.

There he was, kneeled in front of me. His red hair was neat like always with that one strand sticking out. His freckles lightly covered his pale face and his green eyes seemed to glow in the moonlight. It was mesmerizing. He kissed my hand and grabbed it.

I leaned into him and felt tears forming. "Why are you crying babydoll?" Jerome asked. "Because..I'm drunk." I cried. "Baby there's no need to cry because you're drunk. It's okay." Jerome chuckled. He kissed my forehead and wiped my tears. "Shh don't cry." He whispered. He pulled me in for a hug and I cried even more.

"Babe stop crying." Jerome said. "Why are you crying?" He asked. "Because..you're not here." I said. "What do you mean? I'm here with you." Jerome said. "No they-they said you were dead." I cried. "Babydoll I'm right here in front of you." Jerome said. He wiped my tears and kissed me.

"Please don't cry babe. It hurts me." Jerome said. He wiped my tears and kissed my forehead. "Look maybe you should stop drinking." Jerome said, taking the beer out of my hand. "But I didn't finish the box." I said. "If you keep drinking you'll end up on top of the monkey bars." Jerome said and I giggled.

"Violet!" I heard. "I have to go." He whispered. And just like in my dream, he disappeared. "Violet." I heard. I looked up and saw Jim.

"Shit." I mumbled. He took out his phone and called someone. "Yeah I found her....She's somewhat okay...I'll explain when I drop her off." Jim said and hung up. I grabbed another beer out of the box. "Beer?" I smiled up at him. "No thanks. Let's get you to Lee's." Jim said. He took the can out of my hand and set it in the box.

Jim helped me up and I stumbled a bit, making me drunkenly giggle. "No more..late night gas station trips for you." Jim said as he helped me walk to the car. "Wait." I hiccuped. I went over to the grass and leaned over. I threw up the alcohol. I wasn't used to drinking beer. I leaned against the tree for support.

When I was done, I wiped my mouth on the back of my hand and Jim helped me finally get in the car. I saw him walk back to the bench before my eyes grew heavy. I fell asleep.

When I woke up, Jim was helping me get to the room I was sleeping in. Lee helped too and they sat me down on the bed. "Thanks for finding her. I was worried. Earlier she was saying how she wanted to find Tetch. I didn't think she'd escape and get drunk." Lee said.

>Lee<

I sighed at the drunk 18 year old in front of me. "It wasn't your fault. The good thing is that she was safe and didn't get to Tetch." Jim said and I agreed with him. "You got her from here?" Jim asked and I nodded my head. "Yeah I'm good." I said.

Jim said a quick goodbye and left. Violet was starting to fall asleep so I quickly helped her changed out of her clothes and into new comfortable clothes. I took off her shoes and helped her lay down. I covered her with the blanket and she was knocked out. I heard soft snores coming from where she lay.

I grabbed her old clothes and took them to the laundry. Her hoodie felt heavy so I dug into the pocket and found a gun. I put her hoodie in the laundry basket and took the gun with me.

I went to my room and hid it in one of my drawers. I knew she would ask for it later. I wasn't sure if I'd give it back. I was still a little cautious with her. She was in Arkham for murder. I didn't know if she actually changed or if it was all part of a plan. I also didn't want her to hurt herself.

I laid back down in bed, turned off the light, and fell asleep.
