I think I'm going crazy.

I've been seeing Jerome so much in my dreams and even when I'm awake. I think Lee's worried. She caught me mid argument with Jerome and gave me a weird look. She's also heard me in my room. I was talking with Jerome and she knocked on the door asking if I was okay. "Just thinking out loud Lee!" I shouted.

Barnes got put in Arkham for being crazy and almost killing Jim. Harvey went back to being in charge so I was able to get my job back. It's been so long since I've gone back to my house.

I think Jim knows about my conversations. I'm pretty sure Lee told him because now when he greets me, he always asks me if I'm okay.

I was actually talking to Jerome right now. I was putting away files and he popped up. "J." I growled. "Violet." He said. "You need to leave." I said. "You keep saying that but you and I both know very damn well that you're not over me. That's why I'm always around." Jerome said.

I pushed past him and continued organizing files. "Come on Vi. You can't ignore me." Jerome groaned. I didn't say anything as I walked past him and grabbed more files from the desk. I organized them by the names.

"Violet." Jerome said. I walked to the desk and grabbed his file from the drawer. "Hmm Jerome Valeska. That goes over here." I said. Jerome growled and grabbed my wrist. "Stop ignoring me." He said. "Then leave." I said, harshly pulling my wrist away.

I opened the file drawer and felt tears forming. I felt Jerome hug me and he took the file from me. I turned around and cried into his chest. "Please Jerome." My voice croaked out. "Just..leave." I breathed out. There was a knock on the door and I quickly hid behind the file cabinets. I wiped away my tears.

"Violet?" I heard. It sounded like Lee. "Hold on Lee." I said. I took a deep breath and slowly got up. "What are you doing down there? Are you okay?" Lee asked. The question I hated the most now. Lee and Jim always asked if I was okay. They started to think I'm crazy.

Jerome was next to Lee and I paused. "Is everything alright Violet?" Lee asked. "Y-yeah. I'm fine." I said. It was very clear that I was looking beside Lee and not at her. It was also very clear that I was not at all okay. Lee turned her head and looked beside her.

"What are you looking at?" She mumbled. "Is it Jerome?" She asked and my heart stopped. "Don't answer her. It's a trick." Jerome hissed. "Yes." I breathed out. "Y-you can s-see him?" I questioned. Lee shook her head. "See I told you it was a trick!" Jerome said.

"Now she's going to send you to Arkham. They'll make me go away." Jerome said. "No she won't." I said. Lee looked confused. "Is Jerome talking to you Violet?" Lee asked. "No!" Jerome shouted. "Yeah." I said.

"They'll make you take pills. Violet you know how it was." Jerome pleaded. "I told you many times to leave Jerome. You haven't listened to me." I said. "Babydoll please. Don't do this." Jerome begged. "I'm sorry." I said. "What's he saying?" Lee asked. "He doesn't want you to send me to Arkham. He doesn't want me to make him go away." I said.

"I'm not sending you to Arkham. Seeing someone would be better." Lee said. Jerome became angry with both Lee and I. He started walking towards me and I started panicking. He started yelling at me for telling Lee about him and that he was going to be gone forever because of this. It scared me and I started crying.

Lee ran to my side and hugged me. She told me everything was going to be okay. Jim ran in the room and was by us. My vision became blurry but I assumed it was because of the tears in my eyes. I could see Jerome's blurry figure.

I realized I was passing out when everything became dark and I couldn't hear anything.
