Today was the day of our next mission: take over the gala. Our plan was to take out the original magician and replace him with "the great Rudolfo" or Jerome. Barbara would be his assistant and I would be backstage with Theo's men.

So we spent the afternoon getting ready for it. I did Jerome's hair and makeup. "Ow that hurts!" Jerome whined. "Shut up and stay still." I said, applying some black shadow on his eyes. It wasn't going to be a lot. "I hate this." Jerome mumbled. I rolled my eyes and continued.

Once we were done, Barbara was in her costume and Jerome was in his. We added his mustache and left. I went in first. I walked around trying to find the magicians dressing room. I went backstage and successfully found it. I went in and he came out, adjusting his suit. "Oh you startled me." He said. "Who are you?" He asked. "Just someone doing business." I said before punching him.

He dropped to the ground and I grabbed his hands, pulling them behind his back and tying them. I then tied his ankles together and covered his mouth with duct tape. A knock on the door startled me but I calmed down when I saw it was just Jerome waltzing in. "Hello Mr. Magic Guy." Jerome said.

"Where do I put him?" I asked. Jerome looked around the room and started thinking. "Oh I know!" He said. He walked towards a giant treasure chest and opened it. "Just throw him in here." He said. I did what he said and locked the magician in there. Jerome and I walked out and went to find Barbara. "He's gone." I told her.

We walked over to a lady who was backstage. "Hi we heard that the magician cancelled. We're here to replace him." Barbara said. "Oh thank goodness! How did you hear about that?" She asked. "I guess you could say it was..magic." Jerome said, faking an accent. "And you are?" The lady asked. "The Great Rudolfo." Jerome said.

They signed up for the spot and I left. I went back to the van. "Ok Jerome and Barbara are in. Everyone remembers the plan, yes?" I asked. Theo's men all nodded their heads. "Alright let's go!" I said. They all got out and two of them escorted me inside. One of the guys was suppose to be my "date".

"Nick make sure they're all spread out." I told my date. He nodded his head and told them. "Let's get a drink." I said and we walked over to the bar. The show was starting and we walked over to a table. Doctor Tompkins talked and I remembered how Barbara said she hated her. She said it was Jims new girlfriend.

"Without further ado please allow me to present to you, the great Rudolfo!" Lee said. Barbara stepped out and the show began. She presented Jerome and Jerome does some magic tricks. Of course everyone's amazed.

He calls up some volunteers, starting with Bruce first. He does a trick with Bruce and then sends him off. He calls up Harrison Kane next.
"Violet Dr.Tompkins seems suspicious about the show." Nick whispered to me. "Send someone to handle it. She'll probably call her cop boyfriend." I said. He nodded his head and signaled to one of the men.

"By the way, no one here is getting out alive." Jerome said. The crowd laughed thinking it was a part of the act when it was actually true. He picked up a dagger and threw it at Harrison. He groaned and dropped to the ground. People started panicking. "Go. That's the cue." I said. The guys pulled out their guns and started shooting.

Nick and I got up and started shooting some people. "Ta da!" Jerome shouted. More shooting and fighting was going on and Jerome laughed in joy. One of the guys handed me Lee and I grabbed her, making my way to Jerome. "Ah yes. Put her on the board." Jerome said. Barbara walked over to me and took Lee.

Jerome took of his hat and mustache. "Hand me her phone please baby doll? Time to make a call to a special someone." Jerome said. I grabbed Lee's phone and handed it to him. He went through her phone and called someone. "Sorry Jimbo. It's just little old me." Jerome said.
