>Violet<
I woke up and everything that happened yesterday came flooding back. I sighed and stretched before getting up. I headed to the common room. I saw Jerome sitting with the girl that gave me the pack of cigarettes. He looked worried and I heard my name when I walked by.
I sat at our usual table and took out a cigarette. Once again, I was letting the drug control me. "Baby doll." Jerome was standing in front of me. He sat down in the chair in front of me and grabbed my hand. With my free hand I was removing the cigarette. "Violet I'm sorry for yelling at you. I-I lost my temper. I'm so sorry baby doll." Jerome apologized. I inhaled the cigarette and blew the smoke in his face.
"You fucking asshole. I'm trying to get you out of trouble but your damn temper gets in the way." I said. "I know." He spoke softly. "I had to send the fucking nurse to help you." I said. He stayed quiet. "Now both your hands are bandaged." I continued. I sighed. I inhaled the cigarette again.
"Forgive me baby?" Jerome pouted. "Damn it Jerome." I mumbled, pausing a bit. "Yes." He leaned over and kissed my cheek. He grabbed my cigarette from my mouth and smoked too. "I thought you said you didn't smoke." I questioned.
"You got me interested in it." He shrugged. He coughed a bit. I'm guessing it was his first time. "Okay give it back." I chuckled. He inhaled one last time, kissed me, and then put the cigarette back in my mouth.
I finished the rest of the cigarette and threw it away. I had this huge headache and felt dizzy. I groaned holding my head. "What's wrong?" Jerome asked. "My head." I said. I heard Jerome get up. When he came back, he had two trays of food. I quickly took a bite of the toast.
As I was eating, I could see Jerome staring at me. "What?" I asked. "Nothing. Just thinking of a plan to get out of this damn place." Jerome said. Once I finished eating, I threw my tray away.
As I looked at Jerome, there was one thing bothering me. "What?" Jerome asked. "You've just got this..one strand of hair that always sticks out." I pointed out. I tried combing it back but it kept sticking down. I groaned in frustration and just messed up his hair.
Jerome gasped and I started laughing. "Did you just mess up my hair?!" He said. "I'm sorry! It was bothering me!" I laughed. Jerome immediately tried fixing his hair while I just cried of laughter. "Everything is so neat and it was that one strand!" I said. He squinted his eyes at me and purposely pulled out a strand of hair.
I wiped my tears and clutched my stomach. I was out of breath and my stomach hurt.
"Never mess up my hair again." Jerome said. I chuckled and rolled my eyes.

We were back in Jerome's cell just talking. "Baby doll ever since you got here, the asylum doesn't seem so bad." Jerome said. "I know." I sassed, flipping my hair. He rolled his eyes.
"So when is this plan taking place?" I asked. "Huh? Oh. In a few days." Jerome said. "We have to gather some people and some objects." He continued. "What objects?" I asked. "Keys, guard uniform, and maybe a knife or gun. At least some kind of weapon." He said. "Where are you gonna get a guard uniform?" I asked.
"You'll see." He smirked.
