Pete's POV
I screamed until my throat was raw.
"Patrick! Where are you?! Please!" I cried out, looking on the lower levels. The boat made an ominous creak as I felt it shift.
"Pete, we gotta get back to the top of the ship. The boat isn't meant to take all of this water. If we hit it in the front, the front is filling with the most water. That's means that it's gonna break off soon! We gotta go!" Joe yelled. I glared and spun to him quickly.
"No! Not without Patrick. I love him!" I admitted out loud. Joe just looked at me with pity in his eyes.
"Brendon is probably dead. God knows about Andy and (Y/N). Pete, as far as we know, we're the only two still alive." I slapped him after he said that.
"Patrick is alive. Everyone is alive. We're all gonna live, we're gonna live." I cried. I felt wetness on my cheek and slowly lifted my shaking hand. I placed my hand on my cheek and felt the water. Tears. I was crying.
"Pete..." Joe sighed.
"I am the oldest and I am responsible for all of you. You're all getting out of here alive." I promised.
"And you?"
"I'll die trying if I have to."
Andy's POV
I held onto (Y/N)'s hand as we got out of the kitchen. Everything there seemed too heavy.
"We're gonna find a way out. Don't worry. There's gonna be a way." I promised, kissing the side of her head.
"My mom...she was shot. I was young and she got robbed for the food she was bringing home for me. Someone shot her because of me. I'm supposed to be an adventurer...I've only been on one adventure. This is my one and only adventure." She mumbled, taking gasping breaths when she needed to.
"Don't say that! I'm gonna save you. You're gonna go on many more adventures. You're gonna be one of the first most famous adventurers. I just know it (Y/N). For now, let's just get you to the top deck. I have a bad feeling right about now." I promised. I kissed her hand and pulled her along with me to the top deck.
Patrick's POV
I dragged the cabinets and dresser with some rope that Joe swiped the day we set sail. I liked the rope so I always kept it. It finally came in handy. I kept making my way until I felt the boat crack. I looked down and saw cracks making their way on the floor.
"Shit." I cursed softly. I made haste on my way to the top deck, before this boat split in half.
