Joe's POV
I finally was able to drag Pete to the front of the top deck, in record time too, because we found (Y/N) and Andy at the same time.
"Oh thank the sweet Lord Jesus." Pete sobbed when he saw (Y/N). She ran towards him, wrapping her arms around his torso. I looked over at Andy and nodded, letting him know I was glad that he was okay. Andy nodded back.
"Have you guys seen Patrick? I can't find him." Pete frowned.
"No. Wait, is it me or are we about to be straight up over the water?" I asked slowly.
"Jesus, grab onto the railings. No one let go." Andy ordered. We all did as we were told and held on for dear life. I closed my eyes and for the first time in 4 years, I prayed.
Patrick's POV
I managed to push the makeshift rafts overboard, all tied together, hoping to find them later on. I noticed the ship turning vertically and ran to grab onto something. I didn't come this far to die. Especially not yet; not without seeing Pete one last time.
"Jesus, I'm not ready to die." I prayed softly, watching at the water seemed closer than ever.
(Y/N)'s POV
It was silent aside from the occasional scream, and then the lights when out. Everyone screamed, and in the screaming, I heard cracking.
"Does anyone else hear the cracking?!" I asked over the screams.
"I hear it too!" Joe replied. We all watched as the ship split right down the middle.
"What the hell?" Andy gasped watching people fall to their deaths into the newly made crack in the ship.
"Oh god, Patrick!" Pete sobbed also watching the people.
"Guys, we're goin' down!" I yelled as the top part of the ship started falling back to the ocean. We all braced ourselves for impact as the boat hit the water. As soon as it hit, it began to emerge upright again.
"We gotta change positions or next time, we're really going down with this ship." Joe panted. We climbed to the outside of the ship, still clutching on the rails.
"My dad...my dad never knew how much of an ass I thought he was." Andy mumbled. I looked over at his wide eyes and just looked at him for what might be the last time.
"Don't worry, I think he knew." I replied just as the water started sucking down the ship.
"What do we do when we hit water?" Pete sniffled.
"Swim until we get to the surface. The ship is gonna try and suck us down with it. We can't let it. We're all gonna see the sunrise. We're all gonna see our next adventure." Andy said, directing the last part at me. I nodded and looked down at the water that was getting closer to my face.
I'm gonna live.
I'm gonna go on another adventure.
"Deep breaths!" Andy ordered just before the water engulfed us all.
