Terry woke with a jump, he sat up and felt rather than saw the cobble stone floor beneath him. The room or whatever it as he was in was completely dark, no matter which direction he looked he saw black. No windows, no light, nothing, in fact Terry blinked his eyes a number of times just to find out whether or not his eyes were actually open. Where am I?
Terry felt around the ground as he turned over he crawled along the floor, looking for signs of a wall or something he could use to figure out the size of the room. After a few minutes of fumbling around in the dark Terry finally felt his fingers touch something, he grabbed for it and felt that it was solid, a wall! Terry brought his other arm up and helped himself stand up, still not sure about the size of the room Terry decided to whistle, if he heard loud echos than that told him the room was large, and if not well than he'd be screwed.
Terry licked his lips and tried to whistle but nothing came from his mouth. Again he licked his lip and tried again blowing harder, but still no sound came from his mouth just him blowing. Getting frustrated with himself Terry brought his hand to his lips putting his fingers in his mouth and blew as hard as he could, and finally he whistled and listened for an echo but got a voice instead.
"Ah, Jesus! Do you have to be so loud?" the voice called. "Damn near blew my ear drum out-"
"Who's there," Terry asked squinting his eye to no use. "Who are you?"
"Relax buddy I'm not gonna eat you," the voice said again and it sighed, Terry heard the sounds of rustling and than the voice spoke again. "Name Ken. What's yours?"
"Terry," he answered and the voice laughed, Terry ignored that and added. "So where are we-"
"Stark's 'basement'" Ken said much closer than he had before, and it made Terry jump backwards. "Relax bud I told you I'm not gonna eat you."
"I didn't think you were going to but why would I think that anyway," Terry asked and tried blinking his eyes hoping they'd adjust to the dark, they didn't. "Well?"
"You don't know what I am," Ken asked sounding surprised. "I'm a werewolf."
"Another one," Terry said without meaning to, and he heard Ken sigh. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to-"
"Don't worry, anyway what're you," Ken asked sounding like he was right in front of Terry, and he heard what sounded like sniffing. "You don't quite smell like a human, definitely not a werewolf or vampire. You a witch?"
"Well that's what Merrick and Lance thought so I guess we'll go with that," Terry said sounding like he didn't really want to continue the conversation.
"Lance and Merrick?" Ken asked and suddenly Terry felt his eyes flash and just like that he was able to see, though everything was blue. Before him stood a guy maybe a little older than Terry but couldn't be more than 30, and he saw that the man had a slight stubble around his face, other than that he couldn't tell much since he was blue. "1 of them that big ass guy that came in with you?"
"Sounds like Merrick to me," Terry said and he saw Ken look over to the far corner of the room. Terry looked over to where he was looking, and saw Merrick's huge frame laying on the floor against the wall. "Merrick!"
Terry ran over to the wall and he heard Ken say something but he didn't hear him, Terry was already kneeling next to Merrick and checking his pulse. He wasn't sure if werewolves bodies were the same as humans, he had to think that they were. He felt Merrick's throat and nearly pulled back, Merrick was burning up.
"If you're worried about how hot he is don't worry we're always much hotter than humans," Ken said behind Terry and he nearly jumped. "They only issue that I saw with him was that he had bite marks all over his body, and they all have a strange blue outlining around them."
