"I still don't get it," Issac said over the roar of the Witch Cycles. "Why would Mary go into a hotel with a vampire? You don't think she's seeing other men do yo-"
"Shut up Issac," Jake screamed at Issac. "Sister Mary isn't like that so you just shut your damn mouth!"
Damn, Issac thought, Just trying to lighten the mood. Not like Issac could blame Jake though Mary was as much of a mother to Jake as anyone could be. Though Issac wouldn't know he can't even remember his mother or anyone really from when he was alive. Suppose I should be a little more understanding, Issac thought.
"I can see the hotel now," Issac called but Jake and Lance must've already seen it as they sped past Issac who rced to keep up and added to himself. "Or you can just ignore what I say, that works too."
Issac pulled up next to Jake and Lance looking up at the huge hotel, it was quite a big building Issac thought. Bigger than most that Issac had seen, while looking up Issac noticed the sky it was getting slightly lighter.
"It couldn't be getting light now could it," Issac said looking at his watch. "What the hell it's only 4:00, why is it so light out than?"
"No time for that Issac we need to find Sister Mary," Jake said looking to Lance he asked. "Smell anything?"
Lance inhaled deeply and shook his head, "I don't smell anything, not even vampires besides Issac."
"Maybe the person was off," Will said looking up at Jake his face still had blood on it and Issac had a hard time looking away from it. "Maybe she's not even here-"
"No it was a good friend of mine that called me," Jake said grimly. "He wouldn't lie about something like this."
"Well than what're we standing around out here for," Issac said and pushed open the front door of the hotel and he felt his hair stand on end, but he casually walked up to the check-in desk. "Hi, can you tell me if an elderly woman came in here within the past half hour?"
"I'm sorry sir but a lot of people come in here, you can't ask me to remember them all," the clerk said politely.
"Well this woman was very unique," Issac said leaning on the desk. "She looks like she's wearing a nun robe but without the habit-"
"I'm sorry but no," the clerk said smiling sadly. "I did however receive this by an older woman to give to the group who came looking for someone."
The clerk reached under the desk and held out an envelope, Issac gave the clerk a hard look and took the envelope. "Thank you very much," Issac said politely enough. "Give my regards to your boss will you?"
"I certainly will sir," the clerk said smiling.
Issac turned and walked back to where the others were, Now that was odd, Issac thought not looking back at the clerk. Will had cleaned his face before he entered the hotel and Jake zipped up his sweater to hide his bloody shirt and Lance had wiped his face as well. Least they thought enough to clean themselves off a little, Issac thought but rolled his eyes when Will was looking a fountain over.
"Well," Jake said looking directly at Issac.
"Apparently she is here, and that clerk over there was told to give this to us when "a group" came looking for her," Issac said leaning closer. "After he said he hadn't seen her and before he even saw you."
Jake looked past Issac and slowly opened the envelope and pulled out a number of photos. They all gathered around Jake to look at the photos, they all had a group of four people. There was a beautiful woman and two men and the fourth was a shorter woman with short hair but a nice smile, they all appeared to be in their mid 30's.
