Jake was walking up the seemingly never ending set of stairs that lead up to the Saints' Burial Ground. He wasn't at all sure why exactly he was going up here, but something in him told him that he should go here. He'd slipped away from the infirmary after Issac had made him drink about six bottles of the Saint's Brew, the elixir, whatever it was had restored nearly all of his strength. However Jake was still slightly light headed from losing nearly a third of his blood, yet somehow he felt as if he were gaining strength the more stairs he climbed. Maybe that story about these stairs are true, Jake thought to himself as he turned around to look over the city, Wonder how long it'll take them to realise I'm gone. Jake turned back around and kept climbing the stairs, looking up he saw that he didn't have much further to climb.

Reaching the top of the stairs Jake looked back over the city, mainly just to see what was happening at the infirmary. There seemed to be people running in and around the place but it seemed like it wasn't about him, grabbing his right shoulder where Stark had taken a bite outta him. It didn't hurt anymore and to his surprise the wound had practically closed itself, the Saint's Brew seemed to be able to do more for his body than even Issac had thought. Jake didn't complain though he was glad that the formula had healed him, at least it meant that he'd be able to fight again soon.

Sighing Jake turned back around to the giant black gate that lead to the burial ground, Jake walked along the unnecessarily larg gate until he found the large ruby that'd take him to the burial ground. Jake reached his hand out and touched the ruby, like before there was nothing at first, than his hand began to tingle and soon the gate shrunk down to a gate no bigger than the kind you'd see at a mansion. Jake touched the gate and it flew open revealing what seemed like-and may as well have been-another world, with fog so thick Jake couldn't see two feet in front of him. Jake turned around to get one more look at the clear night sky before turning around and entering the graveyard.

Jake cautiously wandered blindly through the fog with his hands in front of him, feeling around for anything he could use to walk along so as not to accidental step on a grave. Finally feeling a sharp object jab his finger Jake grabbed onto it feeling around for a center piece that would hopefully be another Via Mortuus. Jake felt all over the gate but couldn't find any jewel that suggested it'd be a Via Mortuus, sighing Jake turned around and he nearly fell backwards at what he saw. A face staring at him although only for a second, Jake managed to stay up but he let out a cry. Regretting that right away however as he began to hear voice all around him.

"Hey I thought you're only allowed one visit," Jake shouted and the voices began to grow slightly fainter. "Yeah crawl back into your graves and shut-"

"Who are you screaming at," a voice said and Jake looked to his left to see a almost white face with black streaks going down it's cheeks. Jake nearly let out another cry but recognized Dominick's red eyes just before his mouth opened. "Scare you?"

"Just a little," Jake said grabbing at his heart. "What're you doing here anyways?"

"I'm the one who's suppose to ask that," Dominick said grabbing Jake's shoulder draping a black cloak over him in the process, and in a hushed voice he added. "Come. You can't be screaming like that here. You'll wake the dead..."

"But I thought you said-" began Jake but Dominick hushed him again, Jake decided that Dominick was serious about that so he kept his mouth shut.

Dominick turned around and began walking at a rather fast pace through the fog, pausing every twenty feet to see if Jake was following. Jake had to admit that moving around in this heavy cloak was difficult, and the fact that Dominick was doing it with relative ease made Jake think about just how strong the elf really was. The graveyard at night Jake thought was already creepy, add in the pale-faced, demon looking elf made it seem like something straight out of a horror movie. Despite the darkness Jake was able to keep track of Dominick fairly easy, some how his black cloak was even darker than the darkness of night.
