Awkward Texts And Gaga Jam Sessions

Three weeks had passed since the thing with Lapis. Today was Saturday, and luckily for Peridot she had no plans. Today she could finally just relax.

During the three weeks it almost seemed impossible to avoid Lapis. She and Peridot almost had every class together. And when Lapis wasn't around, Peridot was thinking of her.

Peridot really did feel bad. She hoped her words hadn't hit Lapis too hard. Ugh, here she was thinking of her again!

The blonde girl hopped out of her bed and headed to the living room. She plopped onto the sofa and turned the TV on. Peridot began to go through the channels just to take her mind off Lapis.

Suddenly her phone rang. She had a message.

Amethyst: Hey, party at the Temple next Saturday. Wanna come?

Peridot read the message a couple times, then sat her phone down. The Temple was where Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl lived.

For some reason their parents let them all buy the old worn down place and live there all together. Peridot didn't know if she'd go, she didn't really like parties. There were too many people she didn't know and there was always alcohol involved.

Plus, whenever there was a party at the Temple people that didn't even live in Beach City would show up. That was a lot of people.

Was Lapis invited? If so was she going to go? Peridot shook her head, even if Lapis went she wouldn't want to hang out with Peridot.

The pale girl flipped through a few more channels then turned the TV off. Things were so lonely here. Her parents had owned this house, and they were renting it to people, but they gave it to Peridot that way when they moved she wouldn't have to leave Beach City High.

They payed the bills and everything, but once Peridot graduated she would have to begin paying the bills. The blonde girl had only been living here for one year since her parents moved out. They only lived thirty minutes away, but thirty minutes away was a different school district.

Peridot's phone went off again. She picked it up, sighing when she saw it was from Amethyst.

Amethyst: Hello???? We need u to RSPV. Plus, we invited ur blue haired gf ;)

Peridot frowned at that last remark. She immediately began to type.

Peridot: Fine, I'll go. And she's not my girlfriend Amethyst, so bug off.

The blonde girl sat her phone down again. She put her feet up on the coffee table. Maybe she could talk to Lapis before the party..

No, that idea seemed ridiculous. Lapis wouldn't even look at Peridot in school. Plus, she didn't even have Lapis' number.

But Amethyst did.

Peridot's phone went off again, she quickly picked it up.

Amethyst: Whatever u say dork ;)

Peridot began to type, knowing she'd regret saying what she was about to say.  Mostly because Amethyst would pick on her for it.
