Fairy Tail: Black Blood [Book 2/2]

Fairy Tail Chapter 500 Review/Reaction! :OOO

     Before we get started lemme say congrats to Hiro Mashima for reaching 500 chapters! The anime Fairy Tail is obviously my absolute favorite anime of all time, the plot, the characters, the comedy, and all the hints within the series that grows over time is absolutely fan freaking TASTIC! Anyways, let's get right into this chapter, which was 10/10 dope mind you. Colored pages and 31 page chapter so this shit is real.

     Brandish decides to spare Natsu, Lucy, and Happy but she joins the war on behalf of Alverez because she claims to be a loyal citizen. Brandish goes on about Fairy Tail having no chance in winning and Natsu counters, Dimeria over hears this and we all know that Mari vs. Randi will happen (hell it's even the title of chapter 501). Then we get flashes to how other people are doing, Elfman and Lisanna failing at fighting Ajeel, Jacob (and his fantastic "Secret Art" XD) against Mirajane, and Rogue and Minerva fighting Wal Ich and Bradman, both are failing miserably. Then we see Erza, Master, and Juvia's "corpse". Natsu and Brandish get back in their mellow argument while Lucy and Happy occasionally pop up now and again to add in shit that nobody cares about.

     Then we get to Gray vs. Invel. Gray is just going ape-shit, he didn't come here to explain his spells and objective, nope, he came here to fucking SLAUGHTER Invel! Invel comes out with an armor that supposedly "freezes everything it touches", it has some effect on Gray but he just gives no fucks and goes ham on the bastard! THIS ENTIRE SCENE WAS HYPE AS HELL!!! Then we (for some reason) switch to Natsu, he says how you shouldn't underestimate Fairy Tail, and then we switch back to Gray stealing Invel's ice and molding it. He shouts "You stole away Juvia's future right from under her!" and then goes BOOOM! Unforgivable sins! Breaking a son of a bitch! And Gray's crying as we see Invel "blrgh"...

     Brandish says how the entire Fairy Tail guild would face annihilation and Natsu is just like "do whatever you want, we didn't ask for you to spare us. We knew what we were in for". This is why I love Natsu's character, despite knowing what he is he still acts like Natsu for his family. But then, here comes Nienhart waltzing in here like a retard with his fancy enchanted black eyes and accuses Brandish of a traitor after she says "buzz off, I'm in the middle of a negotiation" and wrecks her with wind (passing gas? We will never know). Happy says "Lady Erza", he's probably the only one here whose taking the time to listen to what's going on. Natsu runs forward and delivers a one-shot punch across the face. We should start calling Natsu One-Punch Man, I mean Guildarts shares the same title but let's be honest, Natsu has probably one-shotted more enemies than Guildarts has. And everyone's like "He's terrifying" and "Way to go, Natsu!" while Happy is logically going on about the Lady Erza thing Nienhart mentioned.

     THEN! HERE COMES JUVIA! She wakes up and sees Wendy and Carla, Carla had forseen Juvia's demise and brought Wendy over just in time to save her life. I mean this one made a lot more sense than the Gajeel one but seriously, one chapter later? Mashima, my heart strings aren't puppets! Let them go D:! Aaaand, Gray probably kissed Juvia before she blacked out (cross your fingers this is true, fellow Gruvia fans!).

     Back with the Gray vs. Invel fight, Invel is a sorry heap of turd on the ground while Gray says "I can beat you up all day and night but it won't bring back Juvia. She's never coming back", and that kinda broke my heart, like, Gray lost everyone and now he lost Juvia, that's some deep stuff and I feel really bad for him! Invel says that she's as dead as Gray's master and parents, Gray asks how Invel knew, and Invel merely replies with how they were fated to die because E.N.D. was alive, that it was predetermined for Gray to lose everyone until E.N.D. is gone. Gray says that he definitely would kill E.N.D. and says that he doesn't need Invel's say-so to do it, Invel corrects Gray, saying that Gray is the ONLY ONE who could defeat E.N.D. and says how Gray is blissfully unaware of who E.N.D. really is.

     The chapter ends with Invel going on about Zeref's strongest demon and how E.N.D. is the one Gray knows all too well. Etherious Natsu Dragneel! And Chapter 501 is Mari And Randi!

So yeah, Gray is getting torn apart by his loss and knowing that he has to kill his best friend! I don't blame Gray for going bonkers after this, the poor man lost too much. But how would Fairy Tail as a whole react to Natsu? Would Brandish or Mari reveal who Natsu is to Lucy? OH MY GOSH I AM SO EXCITED!!! ^^
