This is what the crystal looks like.

You slowly let your (E/c) eyes trail down to your chest, only to see a sword covered in (B/c) penetrated through your chest.
You painfully turned your head to see who the blade belonged to and saw the Orc who ordered the attack on you.
"Y-you coward...attacking from behind and not facing y-your opponent f-face to-" A painful cough racked your body and blood fell from your lips as the fit ceased.
The Orc only laughed and forcefully pulled the sword out of your chest before used his foot to push you to the ground. As you tried to get back up, he used his sword-less hand to grab you by your throat and push you back into the ground.
"Pathetic, absolutely pathetic." He said as he let go. "I was expecting something more promising then...you. You can't even fight off a group of grublins."
Despair started to form in your chest as he spoke. You were pathetic, all this time, you couldn't win your own fights, someone would always have to interfere before you died.
'I couldn't fight off Cynder when we first met, Hunter and Spyro had to help me. I couldn't dodge the Golems attack. I couldn't get out of Malefors mountain without the Chronicler help. Nor could I survive his training without his instructions. And the same goes for right now, I'm at the mercy of a Orc. Why am I so weak?!'
A blank look came across your face as he finally said something. "Don't worry, I'll let you live, not just because my master said to, but to let you suffer the knowledge that you were at the mercy of another because you were to weak."
He started to walk away, but your humorless laugh stopped him. "How am I to live with the thought if I'm bleeding out from the hole in my chest?"
It was his turn to laugh. "That is because there was something on the side of my blade." He lifted his sword hand to show a piece was missing from the side of the blade. "What it was, I can not say, but it will not let you die until my master wants you to. It was placed in the cut on your heart, that was made by the tip of my sword. It will consume you until you are nothing more then a walking shadow. And remember, you can not fight it, it is a part of you now."
You got one last look at him before he walked away into the woods shadows. His shield had a deep gash in it.
Another coughing fit racked your body, it hurt, and more (B/c) blood fell from your mouth. You laid your head down on the cool ground, a slight breeze flew by as you stared blankly into the woods. 'Pathetic, pathetic...you can't even defend yourself.' The words crossed your mind with such force, you couldn't block it out.
You let out a angry growl as you tried to stand up, more blood seeped from the wound.
'The crystal!' You quickly looked around, you had dropped it before the fight. 'Where is it?'
Before you could do much as lift a claw, something came bursting through the bushes in front of you. It was Spyro and Cynder.
You could see his purple eyes widen as he looked at the mess, then at you. "(Y/n)?"
He said in a quiet voice. The world started to grow darker as you swayed and fell onto the grassy ground. "(Y/N)!"
He ran to you and looked at your wound. His eyes widened before yelling. "CYNDER, GO FIND A RED CRYSTAL, QUICKLY!"
Cynder nodded before running off in search for a crystal.
When she was gone, Spyro laid down beside you and looked you in the eye. "I should have stopped you, this wouldn't have happened if I had stopped you. I'm so sorry (Y/n)."
You watched blankly as tears started to form in his eyes. The green chain around his neck started to glow, telling both him and Cynder that she had reached maximum distance. You let out a low growl. "N-no, do not blame y-yourself. It was my decision to c-come out her-" You were interrupted by a painful cough and Spyro stared in horror as blood came out of your mouth. "-here, so don't beat yourself up."
There was a silent pause before he spoke again. "(Y/n), I don't know how to explain this, but you are one of my dearest friends even though we only met you about a week ago."
"I guess I have that kind of affect on people."
He gave you a confused look before asking. "What are people?"
The question struck you, you've never heard that word before, but it sounded so familiar. "I...I don't know."
Before he could question you farther, Cynder came running back, but without a crystal. "I-i couldn't find a-any crystals." She panted out.
A faint red light caught your eye and you looked over to see your crystal lying in the dirt. You froze. 'I can't let them see that, they'll break it, but I can't tell them about the promise.'
"H-hey, I think I saw something red on my way into the woods over there." You lied and pointed in a random direction.
"Will you be ok by yourself?" Spyro asked, concern laced in his voice.
You nodded and he hesitated for a moment before running after Cynder.
After you could no longer hear them, you stud up with what little strength you had left and slowly stumbled over to the crystal. You lowered your head to grab it with your mouth.
A rustle of leaves caused you to snap your head in the direction of the noise. "We couldn't find any where you said to look, but don't worry
(Y/n), we'll find a crys-" He stopped mid sentence when he saw you standing in a different spot, but what shocked him the most is that you had a piece of a Red Crystal with you.
Cynder came out of the bushes after him and stopped beside him. "Where did you find that?" Cynder asked.
Spyro shook his head and started to walk over to you. "What does it matter? She found one, so we can heal her now." Spyro said.
As he advanced towards you, you took a step back shook your head. He stopped. "What? Come on (Y/n), give me the crystal, you...you'll bleed out if you don't."
The blood wasn't coming out as much anymore, but it was still bleeding. You shook your head again as Cynder walked towards you, a determined look in her eyes.
But before she could try to get it, you dropped it and pulled it closer to your body, to guard it with your paws and tail. "I-I can't let you use it."
"Why not?!" Cynder exclaimed with a slight burst of anger.
"Because it's a promise."
"What kind of promise?"
You swayed slightly as you started to feel light headed, but answered anyway. "It a p-promise to meet with someone special to m-me again."
"Who is it?" Cynder asked, still angry, but slightly interested.
"...I...I can't tell you his name."
"...his...?" Spyro asked with a pause, you didn't see it, but his eyes darkened at the mention of the dragon being a male.
Before anyone could do anything, you started to sway from side to side and your eyes rolled to the back of your skull. Everything darkened rapidly and sense of nausea came over you as you fell to the ground. As your head hit the ground, you could faintly hear your name being call out before everything slipped into sightless darkness.
