"You know, we may be chasing a meta but I'm actually enjoying myself, remind me to thank her later." Barry smirked, turning his head to Caitlin who looked up at him from the tablet she'd been tapping for the past ten minutes.

"I think we have to catch her before we thank her," Caitlin commented, she couldn't help but smile at Barry, his smile was contagious. She returned to typing, her face returning to her usual focused state. "Barry! She's h-" Before Caitlin could finish she was shoved into the sand, tablet throw out of her hands. She coughed up the sand that had made its way into her mouth.

Barry had already reacted to what happened and darted towards her but was lifted from the floor. He was dangling above the beach metres into the air, he heard her sharp cackle, to much like a villian. He grunted, how the hell was he supposed to get out of her grasp?

Caitlin rested on her elbows as she flipped over, sand still all over her chin, rushing to swipe it away. Caitlin let out a whimper of fear as her eyes landed on Barry dangling helplessly in the air. If she dropped him, there's no chance she'd be able to patch him up this time.

"Caitlin?! What's going on? What's wrong?" Cisco rushed into the ear piece, snapping her attention away from the sight. The brunette reacted the way she would if Barry was hurt. Freezing her emotions and fixing the situation.

"Falcon's got Barry, about fifty maybe forty metres in the air. We need to find a way to help him now, if there's anyway his powers can help him just tell me." She demanded.

Frantically pacing, waiting for Cisco to hurry up and figure something out, she'd look up every couple of seconds, making sure the meta didn't soar off somewhere. Barry glanced down at Caitlin pacing below, he knew she was waiting for Ciscos command, he could tell.

"Pretty girl isn't she? How about I drop you onto her, sure you'll survive a few dozen broken bones but you'll heal, her, she'd die the second you hit her," Falcon sneered, waving Barry above Caitlin's steps. His heart immediately clenched at her words.

He watched his friend pace the beach, seeing her looking up every once in a while. Barry was much too high to warn her, he began to run in the air, clutching the woman's ankles and they began heading away from Caitlin, Barry sighed of relief but Falcon was furious. She beat her wings so forceful that Barry's running couldn't effect her anymore.

Caitlin noticed their movement and knew Barry was fighting back, but that would mean she wouldn't hesitate to drop him. Caitlin squinted she could see their mouths moving - she wondered what the hell they could be saying to one another. Before Caitlin could react the Flacon was hit by a passing jet, in an instant Barry came plummeting through the sky, Caitlin let out a cry, worry flooding her entire system.

Trembling with fear, she felt a pair of hands yank her back and the pair fell back onto the floor, Caitlin once again dropping in the sand. She forgot about the sand and pulled away from whomever's arms were grasping her and was on her feet in seconds. Caitlin released one of her biggest sighs of relief when she saw Barry sprawled on a large inflatable object, Barry clearly happy he hadn't splattered on the ground too. He clambered off, a little wobbly from being in the sky but Caitlin had already rushed at him, her arms wrapped around his neck. He was slightly surprised at first, almost tumbling back onto the bouncy castle but managed to keep his balance and held her back, just happy she hadn't been hurt.

"I thought you were going to die." She mumbled into his shoulder her breathing uneven, she couldn't lose another person. It would be unbearable if she lost Barry, she liked to think of him as her anchor.

"I'm right here. I'm okay." He assured her as she clung to him as though he was going to be ripped away from her. They both parted hearing someone clear their throat, Cisco didn't know who was blushing the most. Cisco smiled at the pair and nodded.
