Everything was back to the way it was, except all the new shiny things Barry had brought for the labs. Plus the fact that they were happy and free for once, no big bad disrupting their lives. Just the odd meta. Barry knocked softly on Caitlin's apartment door, holding flowers, ready to hand her when she opened the door. It took two minutes before the door opened, leaving Barry speechless as he stared at the woman before him. She'd decided to do something different with her hair, french braiding it, then wore a black dress, black heels to match, red lipstick and the usual make-up, she loved getting dressed up nice for Barry, knowing he'd appreciate it. Barry himself was dressed fancy, a bow tie and all, ready for their party, apparently Cisco had a couple of rich friends who'd invited him and a couple of guests to their party.

"You looked lovely as always, Dr Snow." Barry complimented sweetly, bowing whilst holding out the roses, Caitlin turning pink at the flowers and compliment, she took hold of the flowers.

"You scrub up well too Mr Allen, I suspect you'll be the most handsomest man at this party," Caitlin smirked, kissing his cheek, heading into her kitchen placing the flowers in a vase, grabbing her purse and heading out. She'd been on many dates with Barry by now, surprisingly none were interrupted yet. Arm in arm, Barry led Caitlin towards the cab waiting for them both, holding the door open for her, she nodded her head at him to say thank you, Barry climbing in after, careful not to dirty his suit.
They pulled up to an ancient looking building, it looked precise and elegant, somewhere Barry knew he didn't belong. He was more of a messy, classy kind of guy, care free in other words, but Caitlins face lit up, a slight gasp escaping as she joined his side looking up at the building, her eyes twinkling in glee. "It's beautiful!"

"Just like you then." Barry smiled, Caitlin shoving him lightly, her cheeks lighting up again.

"What are you after Barry Allen? A kiss?" Caitlin asked, raising an eyebrow, Cisco interrupted Barry before he could answer. Their fun, loving friend, speed walking towards them, waving happily, a lot of people looked at Cisco their snobby faces scrunched up in dislike, just because he was loud, Barry and Caitlin had gotten used to it by now. Cisco was wearing a suit and tie, looking posh himself, Caitlin was surprised he even owned a suit. She hugged him when he reached them. "Hello Cisco."

"I'm glad you guys made it, I was worried you weren't going to show, then I'd be stuck with this lot." Cisco sighed, pointing to a bunch of people he'd ran away from. "You wanna meet them?"

"Um—sure." Barry replied, his hand entwined with Caitlins, seeing the amount of guys over there, he couldn't help the tinge of jealousy showing, especially seeing that they were much taller than him, and clearly had visible muscles. Caitlin squeezed his hand as they followed Cisco towards the new people, their attention now towards Barry and Caitlin. Finally reaching them, Cisco stuffed his hands in his pockets, standing beside a tall, blonde guy.

"Guys this is Mr Barry Allen and Dr Caitlin Snow, Barry, Caitlin, this is Gary," He said pointing to the guy beside him. "His girlfriend Louise, her brother Andy, his friend Luke and thats Andrea and Claire, Ian and Sam."

Barry shook all of their hands, Caitlin doing the same, not really too good with new people, she just followed Barry's lead. "It's wonderful to meet you all"

"And you." Gary nodded, resting his arm around Louise, Andy stepped forward, smiling brightly at Caitlin, making her feel slightly uncomfortable but she smiled back politely.

"What brings you here?" Andy asked, glancing down at Barry and Caitlins hands, noticing his thumb smoothing her hand, stepping back realising she was taken.

"We don't like to turn down a party, do we Cait?" Barry grinned, looking across at Caitlin who nodded.

"Well it's getting chilly out here, why don't we get inside? I'm sure Carl will be waiting, I was supposed to come and get you almost twenty minutes ago." Claire laughed, even her laugh was posh, she turned towards the steps that led towards the building Barry and Caitlin following behind, Cisco had went off in conversation with Andrea. Caitlin gave Barry a look to ask if this was a good idea.

"I'm sure once we get inside, it'll be more lively...I hope," Barry grinned loving that he could tease her, he heard her tut at him, and pulled her closer kissing her cheek. "Cheer up Cait, we don't have to stay if you don't want to, this isn't really my scene anyway."

"We'll stay, for Cisco, I'm sure he wouldn't appreciate us leaving him already." Caitlin answered, glancing at her friend, still talking happily to Andrea but he looked down at her shooting her a smile and she shot one back. Barry nodded in agreement, he loved seeing his best friend happy and seeing him happily talking to a girl, he couldn't be happier for him.

"Ok, but you can't get drunk this time, I want to take a sober Caitlin home, not a drunk, confused one, deal?" Barry whispered, not wanting the posh bunch to hear, he was sure they wouldn't appreciate the fact that Barry always has to take Caitlin home drunk.

"Trust me Barry, this isn't the place to get drunk, I've hung around with these type of people before, they're like hawks, always watching everything you do and judging every little bit of it, drinking would be the wrong option." Caitlin assured him, Barry raised his eyebrows checking around them, sure enough most people were looking and muttering comments.

"Damn." Barry whispered, feeling creeped out.
