The drawing above is something I've been drawing, it's supposed to be snowbarry, it's not finished though.
(I know it doesn't really look like them, I'm awful at drawing faces) I hope you guys like it!——————————————
Barry waited patiently with Felicity as they waited for his girlfriend. They'd told the others they meet them at Thea's to sort out the plan, but Caitlin was taking longer than usual to just grab a scarf and some boots. Barry couldn't hide his worry, pacing outside the bedroom as Felicity watched sighing at her friend.
"Look Barry, if your that worried, I'll go in and check, she can't of gone anywhere" Felicity announced, hauling herself off of the coach and heading towards the bedroom, knocking lightly on the door. "Caitlin, Barry's getting worried, is something wrong?"
"No" A simple reply called back, Barry didn't seem convinced, it didn't take almost twenty minutes to put on a pair of boots. "I'll be out in a minute"
"See, she's fine" Felicity gestured to the door, before dropping back down in her seat. She tapped her foot on the floor as she waited for her friend, she knew it didn't take this long but gathered she was having a rethink about what she was going to wear. The door clicked and Caitlin stepped out, the scarf around her neck, slightly crumpled as though someone and scrunched it up, Felicity stayed quiet, studying her friend. She was as pale as a ghost, stood stiffly, stretching a fake smile across her face; something was off. Barry spoke up before she could get a word in.
"What's wrong?" Barry questioned, Caitlin's eyes remained at the floor as she shrugged.
"Nothing, just couldn't find my shoes" Caitlin responded, refusing to look into his eyes and heading towards the door. "Come on, we were supposed to be at Thea's twenty minutes ago, they'll be worried"
"I'm worried, your as pale as a sheet and I'm pretty damn sure it doesn't take twenty minutes to find some boots and a scarf" Barry said a little anger in his tone, he knew she was lying to him. "What's wrong?" He repeated, expecting a real answer.
"Like I said, nothing Barry, now we need to go" Caitlin muttered, snatching up her purse and walking out of the door, straight down the stairwell. Barry noticed she was shaking, a worry crease appearing. He glanced behind him at Felicity, her expression full of worry too, she read his face, knowing he could tell something's wrong too.
"Cait-" Barry began, Caitlin automatically spun sharply and faced him, tears clear in her eyes, so much fear and anger across her face but that strong face he knew well, washed over and Caitlin took a deep breath in.
"Please Barry. I'm fine and even if I'm not, I need you to not ask any questions...please?"
Her broken tone, hurt him, she couldn't tell him something and she told him everything but he nodded obediently, not wanting to make her upset. He didn't know what happened but she was shook enough to keep him away from it.
"I love you" He called as she returned to speed walking towards Thea's, she stopped, she could feel the cold tear fall down her cheek. She loved him too. So much.
"I-I love you too, Barry" She croaked, her voice catching in her throat, making it hard for her to get the words out. Zoom wanted her to stay in Star City, keeping Barry there too, making sure he couldn't get back into Central City. Zoom told her he'll trade their lives for the city, Caitlin knew the wrath Zoom could cause, she knew the dangers he could bring, the people he could kill in that city but she agreed, she shook his hand. Sealing the deal. Her friends were safe. But she knew none of them would forgive her, she'd just traded thousands of lives for their four lives. She took another breath and kept her head down, a few steps ahead of Felicity and Barry.
"Do you think it's Zoom?" Felicity asked, focusing on her friend before them. Her hands stuffed inside her pockets.
"Yeah, she acted this way after she got back from Hunter's clutches" Barry whispered, knowing Caitlin could probably hear them. "Maybe you could get it out of her?"
"I can try" Felicity smiled sweetly, knowing her friend might not talk to Barry about it, maybe a best friend could get it out of her. Felicity sped up to walk beside her best friend nudging her lightly. "Hey there"
"Hello Felicity" Caitlin bared a smile, trying to shoo away her guilt, she'd saved her friends. She shouldn't feel guilty.
"So. Barry's pretty worried, me too, care to tell me about it? I promise I won't tell him" Felicity said as though they were schoolgirls spilling their crushes. Caitlin cracked a genuine smile at her friend, happy she cared.
"You're all safe now...that's all that you need to know" Caitlin nodded, Felicity's face crumbled into a puzzled expression as her friend turned back to walking silently. Not saying any other words. Felicity slowed, walking at Barry's pace. The expression of confusion still on her face.
"She said...we're safe now, that's all that matters..." Felicity mumbled, trying to find meaning of the words. Barry's mind immediately acted, unpuzzling the words. His brain working at super speed. Barry felt the lightning flicker in his eyes. All three of them in Thea's apartment, Barry and Caitlin were in Thea's bedroom, Felicity in the living room. Caitlin was baffled until her eyes landed on Barry's.
"Cait...what did you do?" Barry rushed, stepping towards her. "Tell me what you've done"
"No, Barry you won't forgive me and, and I did it because I need you to be safe, I need all of you to be safe, ok" Caitlin sighed, running her fingers through her hair, untangling the knots Barry's running had caused.
"Caitlin you need to tell me what you've done, you can't just make deals without us"
"Barry, your safe! Ok, that's what we all would've wanted, I made a decision we would probably all choose. I've lost my father, Ronnie, and I am NOT losing YOU!" Caitlin yelled in frustration. "He'll kill you...I can't lose anyone else, if...if he see's you anywhere near the city, he'll kill all of you in a lightning bolt...I gave him the city"
"Zoom has Central City? A place where thousands of people live, where hundreds of kids live Caitlin! You just sentenced them all to death, to slavery! You know I can't let him do that, I...I have to go"Barry grumbled, Caitlin catching his wrist, tears spilling over her eyes. She knew he was angry, she also knew she couldn't stop him. She pulled his neck down to her height and pressed her lips against his, he could taste her salty tears but he didn't care, he knew this was a potential goodbye kiss. He held her face, resting their foreheads together for a moment before Caitlin was left with nothing but the phantom of Barry's kiss on her lips. She dropped onto the floor at the end of Theas bed, tucking her knees up to her chest, allowing the tears to fall. The door burst open at some point during her crying, someone asking her where Barry was but she didn't respond, she just prayed Barry would survive and win. Cisco knelt down beside her holding her, listening to her muttered sorrys.
"It's ok" Cisco would repeat over and over, softly stroking her hair. Kissing it every now and again, assuring her that whatevers happened is going to be ok, but Cisco's words didn't convince her, Zoom or Black Flash, whatever he calls himself nowadays had been waiting for this moment, waiting to kill Barry, for sending him with the wraths. God knows how fast he is now.
