Caitlin snuggled down in her sofa, to drunk to change. Her heels still on, as well as her clothes from the party, she'd had meant to stay until the party was over so she'd help tidy up, but Oliver thought it was best she had a lie down. So whilst she was lying down, her friends were still partying. She lolled her head on the headrest of the sofa, ready to drift off to sleep. Her eyes closed slowly, causing her to fall into a dream. No surprise Barry showed an appearance in it, singing softly to Grease, dedicating the songs he sang to her. She felt as if she'd gotten the chance to fly to the moon. Her heart fluttered in her sleep, a smile creeping across her face. But the entire dream vanished, by one puff of wind, her eyes were back open. Snapping out of her sleep and frowning at the man before her, unhappy she was waken from such dream.
"Now, leaving a party you planned isn't very good is it?" Barry grinned, shuffling closer to her, she was led the sofa glaring up at him. "Oh don't be sour Cait, I didn't mean to wake you"
"Well you've just left a party me and Felicity spent days planning for you" Caitlin argued, now leaning on her elbows so she was quarter the way to upright. Barry shrugged.
"Maybe we should both go back?"
Caitlin raised her eyebrows at his words and shook her head lightly, careful not to start a headache. "You should go back, I'm happy here, where theres no screaming, loud music and glowing colours"
"You do realise, If I switch off this light..." Barry muttered, flashing over to the light switch and flicking it off, immediately Barry and Caitlin shone, the room practically didn't need a light bulb, they were both bright enough. "We'd both glow different colours"
"That was your fault" Caitlin rolled her eyes, folding her arms across her chest as she rested her head back down, closing her eyes once again. Trying to drift back into that sleep. She felt the couch dip where Barry sat down in it. She'd only had a few drinks but her head felt like she'd had twenty, she opened an eye, peeping over to Barry as he lifted her legs onto his lap, resting his hands on her shins and smiling at her.
"Your so beautiful, Cait" Barry mumbled, filling the silence between them. Barry hadn't meant to say it out loud, but just seeing her, he just couldn't help it. Caitlin sat up, wondering if she'd heard wrong but her cheeks were still burning pink.
"Thanks" She smiled shyly, tucking her hair behind her ear, not helping to hide her blush. Barry couldn't help it, before he could stop himself, he reached for Caitlin, his hand cupped her jaw, his thumb lightly stroking her cheek. Both of them had held their breaths, slightly taken aback by the move. Caitlin put her hand on Barry's as it held her jaw gently, her eyes meeting Barry's. Those sea-green eyes capturing her heart over and over again and she leaned forward, pushing her lips on his. Finally Barry thought. He responded to the kiss, kissing her back quickly, knowing if he didn't she'd pull away thinking he didn't want this. But he did. He really did.
