Chapter 3:
Aiden's P.O.V.
We both suck at chemistry, I don't know why Mr. Evans even paired us up together, but hey I'm not complaining. She tries so hard it's kinda funny. I can't help but stare at her, she's beautiful."Oh shit" I say as I drop the magnesium ribbon into concentrated hydrochloric acid causing it to bubble aggressively. I hear Dylan laughing across the lab, and my phone buzzes.
Text Message: You can't keep your eyes off her, can you... Just try not to ruin it through setting the lab on fire 😂😂😂
Reply: Shut Up! I am not.
When I look up Mr. Evans is towering over me... shit. "Phone mister, no phones in class you know the rules. You can collect it after school." I hear Callie laugh softly as I drop my phone into his hand.
"Can you please rinse these test tubes out, we don't need them anymore."
"Fine, if I have to." I say giving her a lop-sided smile. I take the test tubes and rinse them out with water. Looking behind me I see Dylan with his stupid grin. Then I hear Callie call my name, "Aidenn, it's not working." I quickly turn around to see just a lone test tube in her hands, with nothing happening at all. The bell rings and we're all dismissed.Yes, we have P.E. after morning tea. I'm so glad that double lesson of Chem is done.
Dylan comes up to me and nudges my arm then looks over at Callie, "Hey Callie, want to play football."
"Get ready to die." I'm surprised as those words leave her mouth, she must really enjoy football. "But, I'm just going to get changed first because I have P.E. after."
I keep staring at her, I swear my mouth is touching the ground. "Kewl, It's on." Wait, we have P.E. too, great now Dylan is going to be annoying as f***. After Dylan and I are changed, I sprint up to the football field and leave Dylan panting behind me.When I see Callie in her over-sized shirt. I'm in awe, she's scoring every goal even in the top left and right corners, WHAT!
"Hey I met Elijah he's the school's best goal keeper. But I'd waste him if I were striker." She says with the biggest grin. I look around to see who she's talking to, but it's me.
"I'm a defender or left wing bet you can't get past me!"
"Fuck, she looks hot." Dylan said, he scared me coming out of no where.
"Bro, what the hell man." I said, maybe a bit harsh.
"What?! I'm just saying."
"Are we going to play some football or not?" Elijah says and Callie just looks at us expectantly.
"Hell yeah!" I respond. "Elijah, are you able to find some more people so we can make a team?"
"Of course mate. What's your name?"
