The next day, Dan had decided we'd go to the science museum. That was after it explaining to him that it's fun, and educational. Only, I go there for the fun. Dan gave me the choice of inviting people again, but after ten minutes of "no you pick" and "it's your choice" we just decided to go alone. So that's what we're doing. We had just paid for our tickets in. The second we walked in I knew the first thing I wanted Dan to see. The tornado simulator.

"Is thing gonna shoot me up in the air or something?" He asked. "No," I laugh, "just watch." I point to the mom and her little girl in the simulator. A bunch of air blows around them as they laugh. Blue eyes filled with joy. "See you won't be blow up into the air." I chuckle. "Come on let's go." I grab his hand and pull him along. We wait for the woman and her daughter to get out. Not more than a minute later they walk out and Dan and I walk in.

They play a clip of a tornado as air started to blow around us. It getting stronger by the second. Dan grabbed his phone out of his pocket and went on Instagram. He tapped on his Instagram stories and said while recording, "This is so weird!" He squints his eyes. Once he was done recording I noticed my hand was still holding his. A blush reddened my cheeks, and I let go. I look up at Dan and I see he had a tint of red in his cheeks as well. Once the wind eased and stopped we both walked out. The air very awkward now.

I hope he doesn't think I like him! Well know... To relieve the tension I say, "Let's go see some more stuff! We can probably even catch a show." We start walking and something catches Dans eye. "There's a mirror maze! Can we go?" Dan asked, childlike. "Yeah! You don't have to ask." I grabbed out my phone and started recording us. I'm putting this up on my YouTube. "Are you excited to go through the mirror maze?" I asked. "Yes let's do this!"

We walk in, mirrors immediately surrounding us. "Ow!" I bumped into a mirror. Waves of pain went through my nose. I stepped back and held it. "Why are you hitting yourself?" Dan laughed. I looked back at him and sent a playful glare his way. I looked into the mirrors and made sure my nose wasn't bleeding. We walk through touching the mirrors. "I hope I don't run into a mirror again." I laugh. I looked down and an idea popped into my head. The floor! I can use it. I looked down at the navy blue floor and followed the path. Before I knew it I was walking out the exit. "I did it!" I said happily.

"Me too!" Dan laughed. "With my help..." I laughed. "You be quiet." He smiled. I stopped recording and my phone returned to my pocket, "Okay so where to next?" He asked. "Ooh! I know where theres a fun little park place even us adults can get on. It has a huge slide." I suggested. "Alright, as long as I don't get stuck." He laughs. "You won't then we'll try out the bed of needles!" I said enthusiastically. I point the camera at Dan. "Okay, I don't know about that."
"Come on it'll be fun! And it won't hurt." I tell him. "Are you sure? That sounds painful..." He says sheepishly. "Come on follow me young one!" I start to lead him to the fun place.  "Young one? I'm older than you." He laughs. "Only by two years though," I shrug. "I'm still older than you... Young one." He laughs. "Now you be quiet!" I smile.

Once we get to the play ground I show him where the big slide is. "I have to walk up all those stairs?!" He asked. "Yep!" I say popping the 'P'. "Come on Daniel," I run up to the steps and start climbing them. As I made it up the fifth stair I was already breathing heavily. After climbing up what seemed like an endless flight of stairs we finally arrived at the slide. "Oh hell no." Dan says out of breath. "Do you want to go first or do you want me to go first?" I ask. We're defiantly going to need some water after this. "You go first." He says. "Alright," I shrug. I get in the slide and yell, "Weee!" All the way down. Standing on the side, I peered my head into the slide. "Come on Dan!" I yelled inside. "I hate you!" He yells back. "No you don't!" I laugh. I step back one, my camera to the slide.

I burst out laughing as I hear Dan's high pitched scream as he slides down. It goes on for about twenty more seconds then I see him. I back up as he slides out. "How was that?" I asked. "Horrible," he laughed. "Why?" I asked. "It was dark!" He laughed. "Let's go to that bed of nails shall we?" We headed to the bed of nails. "You're trying to kill me aren't you?" I could see it in view.

"It's not gonna kill you! I promise." I giggle as we make it up to the bed that was flat and had holes for now. "Come on lay down." I urge. "You promise this will not kill me?" He asked. "Yes, I promise! You won't even get hurt." I tell him. Dan laid down on the bed. I grabbed the connected remote, and pressed the red button. The noise it made was loud along with Dan's "Oh my god's". The floor of the bed started to drop and the nails became more visible.

Once it could go as far as it could the sound stopped and Dan laid on the nails. "How do you feel?" I ask. "Surprisingly it actually doesn't hurt." He admits. "I told you."

I release the button and the floor came back up as the nails disappeared into their holes. "Now you go!" Dan got up and I laid in his place. I pressed the button myself and I could feel the nails on my back. I waited until the floor was down all the way then released the button letting it back up. I got off the bed, and knew where Dan and me should go next.

"I have another place to show you." I say. "I swear if it's something that makes me think I'm gonna be killed..." He trails off, smiling. "It's not, it's fun and adorable." I smile. We walked over to the mini carousel. "This is too adorable!" There was some little kids on it pedaling to make it go.  Once two left Dan and I took their spots. "So how does this work?" Dan asked. "You have to pedal to make certain things go. One for music, one for movement, one for lights, and another one for something else that I don't know yet." I explain. I started to pedal and it started moving. "Looks like I'm controlling the movement." I say. The music started to play, so Dan must controlling the music.

"This is so fun!" Dan said. I pointed the camera at him. "This is the perfect place to show your inner kid." I giggle. After a couple more minuets of goofing around we got off the carousel. Then I took Dan around more. We were even able to catch a show. Now we're going to another one where they teach us about the stars. Its a dome with a projector type roof. It's very dim almost dark lighting as we find our spots. The chairs were reclined.

We made small talk until the show started. Once the show started this guy came in as he explained all the rules. Dan and I turned off our ringers, and turned down our screens. The lights get darker until it was pitch black. Then the man shows us a fake sun set on the dome roof. The stars were now visible. I wish they were real, I haven't looked up at a clear star-lit night sky in a while. The man starts to explain the constellations. I barley pay attention as Dans hand was close to mine. Very close.

I wanted to move my hand and intertwine my hands with his. I don't think he'd want to hold hands with me. If feel his fingers twitch as if he were going to make a move but stopped. My heart speed up, and excitement bubbled up inside me. After a few minuets of watching the show, and no more movement from Dan. Dan moved his hand, and intertwined his fingers with mine.

It was like our hands were the perfect fit. I smiled, and a blush creeped up into my cheeks. My stomach was turning flips. Am I dreaming or is this actually happening?? Okay, Y/n,calm down. Try to focus on the stars... Just calm down... I take a deep breath and calm myself. I smile once more as I continue to watch the man teach us about the stars.
