19: One After Another

Still wanting to be close to him, I gathered up some of the little courage I had. I moved my body closer to him and laid my head on his chest. Dan brought his arm up and started rubbing mine affectionately. "So how was your day?" He asked me. "Pretty okay... I missed you though." I chuckle. "I missed you too. You were the one occupying my thoughts most of the day."

"Really?" I asked. "Yeah while we were getting everything planned I couldn't wait to take you out here." He smiled. "We?" I questioned. "Yeah, Phil and Connor helped out a bit," he explains. "Aw that's sweet," I smile. "They were both acting really weird today though..." Dan trails off. "Really? What type of weird?" I asked. "Thick, awkward tension weird.."

"I wonder what's up with them.."

After about an hour of talking, and laughing Dan and I picked up everything, and headed back to the car. After everything was packed we were on our way home.

Dan shut the garage as we both walked into the house. "It's like twelve you think Phil might be home?" I whisper to Dan. "Probably, I'll check the couch. Maybe he came home and crashed," Dan says passing me and walking to the couch. I sit everything down and what was left of our drinks in the fridge. I heard a hushed gasp escape from Dan's lips. My eyebrows furrowed in confusion, and I walked over to the couch standing next to Dan. My eyes widened and my jaw hit the floor at the sight. Phil, and Connor. Naked, on my floor!

Connors head was on Phil's chest, their faces both relaxed as light snores sounded through out the quiet living room. That was more than I wanted to see from both of the guys. I covered my eyes and turned around. "Just cover them... um they can deal with this in the morning." I tell Dan. I walked off and disappeared into the hallway. So many fan girls would kill to see that... me for one didn't! Even though I did read a lot of Phan fictions. I walked into my bed room and sat my purse on the bed. I'm sure I smell like the great outdoors. Shower time!

I got up and gathered all my things and sat them on the bed. Then I walked into the bathroom, and started the shower. I waited until the water was at the temperature I liked it to be, then I stripped down to nothing and hopped in. I still can't believe they had sex though! Well did say it was awkward thick tension. The word he was missing was sexual.

I shut the water off. I stuck my hand out and went into my usual place that keep my towel, and felt nothing but cold metal. "Oh shit!" I whisper to myself. I opened the shower curtain enough to peak my head out. I saw that I had brought nothing in here. Great job Y/n you left everything on your bed! I sighed and opened the shower curtain. I stepped out, my wet feet leaving tracks against the tile as I waked to the door.

"Dan!" I yelled. Not loud enough to wake up Phil and Connor though. Hopefully enough to get Dan's attention. After a few moments of no signs he was going to come to my rescue, I sighed. I scanned the room. Once I was sure that no one was going to walk in, I walked out. The cold air of my room hitting my body, made me shiver. "Y/n d-" I quickly grabbed my towel to cover myself. Dan stopped in his tracks, and turned around as he started to apologize. I could feel my cheeks grow hot as I quickly wrapped the towel around my body. "I'm so so sorry Y/n! I just thought I heard you call for me!"

"I'm okay now," Dan turned to face me, "and I thought you weren't coming. I'm sorry," I explain, apologizing. "I wanted to make sure I wasn't just hearing things I didn't mean to walk in like that." He apologized. Again. This is so embarrassing. I didn't want him to see that much of me! I grabbed all my things and hurried into the bathroom.

(Warning it does kinda get graphic, not too graphic but just a bit) Dan's POV:

I can't believe I walked in on her like that! She wasn't even dressed. I'm so horrible! Images of what I saw flashed into my head. Y/n's perfect body, still wet from just coming out the shower. I bit my lip and shook my head as I tried to rid my head of some of the thoughts I was about to have. My brain didn't listen to me as the thought of me crashing my lips against hers at that moment. Throwing her on the bed, and moving my lips from her to her neck... No! Dan stop it! Aw fuck! Welp now I have a problem. I can't let her see! She'll probly think I'm some pig... oh this is so uncomfortable. I should go take a cold shower in the front bathroom. "Y/n! I'm gonna go take a shower," I told her. "Okay," she answers. I hurriedly grabbed the things I needed for when I get out the shower and headed to the bathroom.

Y/n POV:

I walked out of the bathroom now fully clothed. God I hope things aren't awkward between me and him... if I could've waited a few more seconds! I pulled back my covers and climbed into bed. I pulled the cold covers over my body, and plugged my phone into its charger.

I went on YouTube and clicked on one of Jacksepticeye's videos. Subnautica, such a pretty game! A scary as hell one too..with those damn Latvians! About ten minutes in I could feel myself starting to drift asleep. I gave in to the darkness, the video still playing.

Dan's POV:

I got my head screwed on straight now. I can't believe I had such thoughts about her... I feel so bad about it. I hear one of Jack's videos playing. I wonder if I'm gonna be kicked out tonight. I walk into the room to find the most adorable thing I've laid my eyes on.

Y/n's face was relaxed. Eyes closed with her hand tucked under her head. I leaned on the wall, my arms crossed. If everything's alright tomorrow, this gorgeous girl could become mine. I can't wait for the day. I smile softly at her. Maybe it'd be best to giver her some space tonight. I mean, Phil isn't sleeping in the bed tonight. I walk over to her and close her YouTube app. Then I turn off her phone. I lean down and kiss her head softly, before shutting off the lamp and exiting her room.
